I've been using these to run cables from my antenna to my TVs and I get a great connection every time
These work well. I've been using these to run cables from my antenna to my TVs and I get a great connection every time. I am a bit of a Klein-snob from working in telecom and electrical so I bought these and was not disappointed. They claim to just be for RG6 but these work great on RG6Q for satellite, however I would recommend getting the "yellow" ones for 6Q if you can as they may perform better, but I have no proof of that as these have worked great for me in the past.

Very hard to install and won't fit quad shielded RG6 coax
I was able to install these on outdoor rated dual shielded cable, but I almost called it quits. I'm fairly strong but it took me about 15 minutes per connection since these have such a tight fit. In the end I had to use a pair of vice grip for the metal end and then pushing on the other with all my might while wiggling it in a circular motion. There is no way this would ever work for quad shielded cables.
