Tarot Card Variation (African Black Tarot Deck)

This deck is worth the price..... OUTSTANDING box (with a rose petal texture). The cards fit extremely snug in the box, requiring that they be GENTLY removed, and replace them back into the box, a few at a time (Don't force them back into the box -- replace a few at a time). Considering that such a high quality, superior deck of cards is shipped from Ghana, Africa, the creator probably wanted to be sure that the deck was firmly secure and remained undamaged in overseas shipping, so the cards fit very tightly in the box. This is the highest quality Tarot deck I have ever purchased! The card stock is heavier than standard decks, precisely because it's not a "standard" Tarot deck. Thus over hand shuffling is not advisable. (That would be like casually throwing around a mink coat) This is not your average "run of the mill" card stock/Tarot deck! This is a Tarot deck fit for royalty! The back of the cards has the image of African mud cloth. The face surface of the cards will blow your mind -- they literally feel like the surface of rose petals. Who in their right mind overhand-rough shuffles rose petal surface card stock? There is only 2 errors within the deck. ----APPLICABLE TO 1ST EDITION ONLY: The VI of wands was titled VII of wands & VII of Wands was titled VI of Wands..... This deck is so unique, that I can overlook that error. The word TAROT is written across the back of the cards, so for those who are picky about reversals, don't let that be a deterrent... you can still do reversals.----. The images are SO beautiful and caotivating. There is a shiny gold metallic halo around the heads of each imaged person. As a Tarot researcher and collector, I assure you, this is the highest quality Tarot deck that I have EVER come across. So beautiful, that on my birthday, I'm going to gift myself with a second. deck as a back up). This is a genuine heirloom deck! It is truly worth the price. No video can do it justice. You have to have it in your hands. Add to that -- It was created in the MOTHERLAND by a sister in Ghana, from which ADOS departed (through that infamous "Door of No Return"). This deck has heavy ancestral spiritual "Ashe" that you won't get with other Tarot decks. Get it and pass it on to your children & to their children's children! It is a genuine African heirloom, straight out of Africa!

I quickly (3 days) received my deck via amazon USA (I am in the UK). I bought it after watching only 7mins of Havana's Sparkle Divine Tarot walk through on YouTube. This deck is simply Stunning. Glorious. Even though I am not a practicing Christian, the gold foil halo's? Transported me to the few spiritual experiences I have had in places of Christian worship over my years. To have those experiences jump to the forefront of my memory whilst viewing the images of my people in a sacred historical context, has me feeling really emotional. The mini guidebook (a lot more than your usual LWB) is great for beginners, however if you know the RWS system then this deck will be no different. Unfortunately isn't any information regarding the art and image choices made for each card, because they are amazing. However after contacting the makers of the deck via insta, They have assured me that something is in the works, I am so happy. I appreciate in creating the guidebook, choices had to be made due to final cost. Card stock has a greater flexibility than the Dusk II Onyx travel ed. With a matt gold edging. With a rose petal finish it holds lovely in the hands and over hand shuffles like a dream. I side riffle, as I want to preserve these cards whilst using for as long as possible, however it could stand for a standard riffle shuffle due to a sturdy card core. The box is feels luxurious, again with the rose petal finish, inside the box is a cut out foam insert so the cards do not move. Little details like this make for a lovely experience every time you open the box. One deck is not all the things to all people, however it is so refreshing to have an Afro - European perspective in Tarot as we have had a slightly different experience from our Afro American Brother's, Sister's and They's (awkward phasing but you get me, nah) No less nor more, just different, and I truely feel that difference with in the deck. If you read Tarot, this is a great deck. If you collect Tarot, this is a great deck to add to your collection. If your stuck for a gift for your esoteric leaning friend/family/lover, then this is an intense gift, one that will keep giving. I bought this for myself and I am so pleased I did. 🤎🧡💛💚💙💜🤍

I can’t say enough good things about these spiritual tools! Beautiful in every way. The images, the card stock is durable/thick, the colored guide book, the case and bag are all finely crafted. They speak with simple words but powerful insights. They need a good slap to unstick them and afterwards they shuffle well. I purchased the bundle and each set was worth every cent, I’m so grateful for them!

To each his own. I seen it, I wanted it. I bought it. The last few decks I've purchased were on the high end and I love them. This deck is the most expensive thus far and worth every penny. Came the very next day and instantly upon opening I connected. Very sturdy and feels good in hands. Smooth texture and beautiful artwork. I mean it's nothing uncommon, however it is what it is and I love it. Like most decks the cards do stick and are hard to shuffle at first but either way whatever message needs to come out will come out. After playing around for a bit they were easier to shuffle. Definitely have to find new ways to shuffle in order to preserve the deck but for now I'm having fun and enjoying my new tool and addition. Also I purchased last year, just realizing I never submitted my review. I want the bundle. Then I can use this deck often and save one for a keepsake. I really enjoy these cards.

This deck is perfect in every way. The illustrations are unique, inspiring and stunning. The artistic touches are so different and visually appealing without being overdone - there's a plenty of room for the reader to channel their own unique interpretation of each card. The quality is the best I've seen in any deck. The card stock is perfect, and I love the smooth, matte finish. Not to mention... the guidebook is hardcover! I couldn't believe that & was pleasantly surprised. I can easily get lost in each card for quite a while. The energy of this deck feels so rich and on a level that you just don't experience with most decks. It's clear that a great amount of time, energy, talent and effort went into this. I would have paid twice as much for it. I'm so thankful to have this beautiful deck in my collection.

This is one of the most beautiful decks in my tarot practice. The card stock is perfect - thick, sturdy but not too cumbersome. The gilded edges and rose petal finish make the deck look and feel smooth to the touch. One of the things I like about the gilding is how it doesn’t feel fragile, so I’m not worried about it rubbing off anytime soon. The deck feels luxurious, but also like it will last for decades. The artwork is gorgeous, with beautiful gold halos around the human figures. The color palette is stunning. The content in ‘little black book’ gives a good amount of description yet is also to the point. Also, you gotta love a case that is *not* a flimsy tuck box. On top of all that, the makers are so kind. I had a question for them and reached out to their customer service. They were so caring and attentive. This is a GOOD VIBE deck, people. Highly recommend for new and experienced readers.

This deck is absolutely gorgeous! The packaging is so luxurious and the cards themselves are velvety smooth. This deck is almost too pretty to use, but is so well made, I had no issues with lingering fingerprints like I do with other decks with a velvet texture. The cards are the perfect size and are very easy to hold and shuffle. The imagery on the cards are so beautiful. There are a lot of great touches and details on the the cards and the packaging. This deck has quickly become one of my favorites and is worth every single penny! If you’re looking for a fabulous Rider Waite Tarot deck with a fresh and beautifully Black aesthetic, this is the one honey!

Wow! I'm not sure where to begin. These tarot cards are definitely one of a kind. There is nothing else available that comes close to these ethnically rich cards. The card material quality is beyond anything that I've ever seen in a tarot deck. The images are art gallery worthy. I sincerely hope the artist makes poster size or larger prints available. My favorite cart artistically I'd the Magician. Maybe I'm biased because I love the color pink and flowers. I found that once you connect with the deck, you get eerily accurate/relevant answers to your questions. It's weird, when I ask about "feelings," I usually get cups. I cannot say enough positive things about this one of a kind deck. Your collection isn't complete without it.
