Be aware that this is a BPA-Free plastic cup. Exactly as described. I got this as a "get well" gift for my sister when she was under the weather. She was happy with it because it was lightweight and easy to lift when not feeling well. For that reason I give it five stars. For "non-sick-days" I would prefer a ceramic mug.

And the cover is like a clear plastic food container lid. The only clue in the ad is that it is BPA free. And if you miss that, you might think this is a traditional ceramic mug. Don't be fooled. This is give-away promo item quality at best.

What I liked about this Handy Soup Mug, if I am having a soup that I like to drink, instead of eating with a spoon.It is easy to wash and if I am engaged in a conversation, I cover it and it stays hot, different than a soup bowl.
