We have two cats and one likes a certain spot by the window on a cat tree and another one likes to lay on the bottom of this two decker cat lounge. That cats brother is pretty shy but sometimes he'll sit on the other level with her on the bottom. It gives one of our cats a pretty reliable place to lay and look out the window that's kind of hers. It makes it easier on the other cat because he likes to have his spot in the cat tree period one of our other cats always wants to go out and never sits around the window anyway . The shy cat sometimes will go up there with his sibling, but otherwise it's kind of not his bag anyway. We wanted to provide a space for the other cat that really likes the window to have basically for herself and that's how it's worked out so we're really happy with this purchase. It works quite well it's sturdy it looks comfortable and it can definitely hold two cats. It really didn't take much effort at all to put up and it stayed up for several weeks now without any adjustment. I'm not expecting it to fall down, it's just that it's only been up for about a month. If I needed a second one I would definitely buy another. I might buy one for upstairs so they have another place to look out that window, come to think of it, so I may just buy another one. I feel like it's a good buy and the quality is what I expected, it was easy to put up and I would recommend this to anybody wanting something similar. The hole going to the second level does kind of limit the lounge space on the upper layer, but it also provides a space for the cat who's on top to sort of peek down and play with the cat on the bottom and vice versa. We don't have it super high off the ground, it's above our sofa which is backed up to the window. So if they want to run and jump up there it's not unfeasible but we also don't hit our heads on it when we sit on the couch.

I purchased the particular window perch because it was the best price for a high-rated perch for a two cat home. After reading reviews and the instructions that came in the package, I easily set-up the perch. I was the window well with cleaner and a lint-free microfiber cloth, then used rubbing alcohol to clean the suction cups and the areas of the window where the suction cups would adhere. When I attached the bottom cups first and held up the perch, the upper cups would have come to the metal strip with the latches where the two panes meet. I realized that I needed to raise them so the top suction cups would be on the upper frame. The product picture on the box and the one on this Amazon product listing show the top suction cups on the upper window pane. The cats were not interested in the perch at all when we first purchased it. They were recently adopted when we purchased this window perch and were still getting used to each other and our home. I thought I had wasted money and considered returning it. However, I gave them a week and did a few things to attract them to the perch and help them feel more comfortable. I set them on the perch, one at a time, and petted them for awhile so they would feel like it was a safe place. I sprinkled it with catnip to attract them. Finally, I placed a kitty tower next to the perch. They used the tower to jump onto the perch. For awhile, one would be on the perch and the other. Then I placed one at a time on the window perch and played with them, I put my hand through the top of the hole to the cat on the bottom tier. Then I pulled the cat up to the top tier and pet it. The I put my hand up through the hole and gently brought the cat back through. After a few days, the cats were bunking up. The perch holds them well, even when they get excited and bat at each other through the hole or jump up to swat at a moth on the other side of the window. The cats weigh 10 and 11 pounds for a total of 21 pounds. Our window perch is set-up in the dining room were the cats can watch the birds and bugs under the tree in the backyard. The kitties also enjoy sitting near and at eye-level when we eat, but we do not have them trying to jump in chairs or on the table. When use the dining room company comes over, I simply unscrew the fasteners on the top suction cups, remove the perch from the six suction cups, replace the fasteners to the top cups so they aren't lost, dust the window for kitty fur, and pull the blinds down. I easily relate the perch after company leaves. The furry lining of the two levels catches a lot of cat fur and dander, and reducing the amount shed throughout the house. Daily swipes with a lint brush or roller will keep it clean, but I recommend vacuuming the perch if the cats use it regularly and you are not cleaning it often. My Dyson handheld vacuum does not do well as it sucks to the material and will not move freely across the surface. However, the attachments on the canister vacuum work very well. After vacuuming, I spray the perch with an allergen reducing fabric spray - Febreeze Allergen Reducer or Nature's Miracle Just for Cats Allergen Blocker - to neutralize the allergenic enzymes on their dander. With this cleaning method and closing the cats in another room when we have company, visitors who are allergic to cats have few issues when they visit. I have no reason to purchase another window perch, but if I ever do, I would buy this one again. I recommend it for other households with two or more cats.

Seems well made. When I first pulled it out of the box I immediately thought to myself why didn’t I invent such a ingenious idea?!? It’s a great product and was extremely easy to setup. Make sure window is in good condition and not cracked*** make sure the seals and trim are good as if it’s not this can actually cause your window to possibly break and possibility of harming your cat inadvertently. Use regular glass cleaner on the donor window. Immediately use some rubbing alcohol for even the most cleanest possibility. Make sure it’s got no gunk, dirt and especially no grease/oil. Pull product out of box. Place the suction cups in hot water in sink but make sure sink is clean and not greasy. Let soak for approximately 3 minutes. Immediately dry them with “clean” paper towels. Place the suction cups with the “K&H” branding upwards on the metal backing be careful to wiggle it on there and not cut yourself on the metal as one of mine was kinda sharp. Place the bottom tier on bottom of window glass seal so it’s even and level and press firmly all the air out of suction cups. Proceed to the second tier above that one and place suction cups on glass window to your desire placements you might have to adjust them until you eyeball it to perfection- now the last two suction cups preferably line up on bottom of the top panel of your window like my luckily did, depending on size of your window. I think this works best on the newer type double pane windows solid glass without the squares but it should still work as long as your window is big enough for this particular cat window perch. Oh make sure to tighten the two suction cups by twisting them to the right to desired tightness. Make sure not too tight that it breaks the window I don’t think it could happen but never know. Carry cat to it and let him/her know it’s a gift to them from you. Hopefully they like it. Mine loved it. I love how easy it is to fold and be able to close the blinds with ease at night.

We have three cats, all three smaller in size, but they all sit on this with no issues. There have been only a couple of times where the suction came off from one of the upper ones, but I think it could have maybe been due to temperature change. The only think it would change on these is the material they use for the part where the cats sit. I wish it wasn’t as “fluffy” and a was a material that held up better, since that part definitely has worn over time.

At first, when installing the suction cups that have the twist knobs, they would not stick on the window but I had read some other people's reviews saying they soaked them in water for 3 - 5 min. before installation. So I tried that and it worked great. I am amazed at how well the suction cups stick. I have a 20 pound cat and an almost 10 pound cat that love it. The larger cat will fill up one "shelf". The smaller cat loves the cover which is like a very soft fur and she will stick her claws in and pull herself back and forth across the "shelf". Even with both cats laying on it the suction cups hold. This seems well made and has no assembly except putting the suction cups on.

I love this thing!! Ive been wanting one for a while but i have two cats and when i saw this double stack, i was immediately sold. I do have to say the instructions weren't super clear but i came on here and found someone else's video to follow and that helped a lot! Its also pretty large so make sure you have a big enough window for it. I am happily surprised it holds up for both of my cats and their brawling. Bonus points if you combine this with the window bird feeder (;

My cats absolutely love it and use it all the time, often spending all night on it or bouncing around playing with each other through the hole between the top and bottom! One of the best cat-related purchases I’ve ever made.

I soaked all the suction cups in hot water for a couple minutes, cleaned the window, and had this thing up all in about ten minutes by myself. Cats will try to fit in the box and fail, which provides entertainment, so packaging gets full stars. First order of business: Put my heaviest cat on the top platform, ready to catch him (thank you for your brave service, Majora). Solid. Second order: Put my craziest cat, Winnie, on the bottom platform and let her, uh.. go. Pay very close attention to suction cups. Solid. Final order: Scan area for landlord. Clear. Release all the cats. Second heaviest cat had been watching the entire time, patiently waiting to get up in there, actual space for him with two other cats already on it be damned. Mr. Noodle looks like he'd be the heaviest since he's actually the biggest, but he's mostly fluff. Don't tell him I said that. Lucy, my lightest and chillest cat, remained light and chill and put her little paws on it for a second and got a couple sniffs before waiting her turn. Solid. Three cats on and one cat balancing on it? Soliiiiddd. Winnie continued to zoom around on both platforms for the rest of the day and has resumed activity this morning, all while at least one other cat was also on it. I have anxiety and windows from the 90s that are basically plastic and this thing still worries me 0%, so we've got full stars on sturdiness. Platforms are grey sherpa-like material on top, black scritchy canvasy material on the bottom. Soft and just a little malleable, not like a cardboard insert or anything inside them, which is good for washing. The hole has sewn edges and isn't going to fray/expand or anything. You can un-velcro these from each platform frame and throw em in the wash. Nice. Full stars on, uh.. platform.. goodness. I have provided photos of all the cats on the perch (except sweet Lucy) along with close ups of the suction cups because I know someone on this website is gonna say wElL I doN't kNoW aBouT the SUctiOn cUps. Understandable. Well, now you do. Bonus photo of Lucy due to honorable mention - her nametag is coming in the mail right now, nobody freak out. She's new here. Would I recommend this product? Oh yes. We have two cats - one LARGE boy (7kg) and lighter (5kg) but long girl. Both love this. I've had it stuck up for months with no movement, and both cats sleeping on it almost daily (sometimes together, sometimes just one). Certainly holds up to the weight (including a big jump my large boy does to get onto the high shelf from the ground). Highly recommended. Quality shelf. Also love the folding feature as ours is attached to a sliding glass door so needs to be able to move a lot!

Although is good and my cats loved it and they enjoy hanging out together but I’m giving 3 stars because one of the rod broke from one side of the joint. I wanted to mention this that both my cats don’t weigh more than 19 pounds because it’s mentioned that the product can hold upto 50 pounds.

Its a very well made product. The rod they use is more than enough to support the three cats we have, and the suction is very good. Soak the suction cups in 160 degrees first and than clean your window and you will have no trouble. Very well thought out. Highly recommend this product.
