Great for the money!

Works just like supposed to and I have used it a lot. The connector part is very small so would be easy to lose. I always keep it in the plastic bag when not using. The magnetic cap has stayed on in my purse without a problem.

Lost my original Apple cap in the flight somewhere as I was trying to make a run for my connection. Did not want to spend money on another original Apple cap, so I bought this. The cap's fit and finish are decent. It helps to have added items of charger converter and a silicone cap (which I do not use), but not a necessity for me.The reason for removal of a star (I would rate this 3-3/4 stars or 75%) is that the magnet is not as powerful as the original Apple cap, as a result the cap tends to get lose from the pencil and gets dislodged. It does not bother me because I have a silicone pen cover with a cap holder, into which this cap fits snugly. But if you don't have a cap holder and don't want to spend more money losing these, time to time, due to lack of a stronger magnet, then look somewhere else. Because cost of losing more than one suddenly becomes a different financial proposition.Update - 01/30/2024. As described earlier, the magnet was and is the weakest point for it. Since continuous use for about 20 months, it has started to show signs of losing its strength and falls off quite often. If it weren't for my cap holder, I would have lost it. I am downgrading the rating to 65% - still a 4*, per Amazon's ratings.

Sadly I lost the cap to my pen and now I won’t. And with the little connector piece, I can use my phone charger without disconnecting my iPad.

I like this product because it feels like the original! I lost my cap and now this replacement has helped me protect my Apple pencil. I also found my old cap a few days ago and the two caps feel identical. I would buy this cap again if I needed one.
