Indeed for players 16+
We love this game! So easy to use and the questions are fun! My 13 year old is able to answer some questions and is learning a lot from the others. It is a semi quick game so attention is not quickly lost, but too fast to cost more than $25. The pieces are sturdy, but are definitely choke hazards if you have little ones around as you play. We put ours in a snack size baggy to keep from losing them.

Questions you can actually answer!
Tired of feeling like the inbred buffoon that the original version brings out in you? Now you have a game that asks questions from a time after the invention of electricity. Don't know the names of character actors that died 63 years ago? Not sure which serbian hockey goalie blocked 10 shots in the 1912 winter olympics? Struggling with the title of that well known book about holocaust survivors that knitted their way out of a concentration camp? Not to worry, now you can answer questions about things that happened after the first moon landing. I feel so smart! Not sure what to answer?....just try Brad Pitt again! There's a 15% chance you'll be right!

Almost great
This game is so close! If you have previous editions that will be so helpful. We play on the 2000s board and use any dice that are included. We decided to rotate the questions so each time we play we use a different row so the questions are fair and mixed. The questions the sleeves are great and a blast from the past. 4 stars for the ridiculous board! However, I certainly recommend this game!

Good "leveler" version for people of different ages/generations to play together
I was unsure how this would go over given some of the reviews. I wanted it for an 18 y.o. daughter who would feel excluded from many of the other TP decks because she wasn't alive for the "recent" events. I was looking for a version that would level the field for everyone. The older decks were too hard for her and decks like the Disney deck were too easy. It took us a little bit to get used to the new rules, but they help as levelers, too, because there are ways to earn pie pieces without answering the question correctly. It seems like it would have a shorter play time than TP usually runs, so that might appeal to some people, too. (It helps to think of it as a brand new trivia game and to get TP out of your head.) On the new cards, there's a category that is read aloud and the player whose turn it is has the option to answer a question from the category or to throw the question out to the group (stump.) Once we understood that aspect, the play got much more straightforward. The end result: she's happy with the game and it served the purpose I wanted.

it's fun if you have kids in their teens
Man, Hasbro phoned it in on this one. Yes, it's fun if you have kids in their teens, but I didn't like how they changed the board, they made the individual cards into categories (ie: you land on Orange, pick a card, the category is "Super Bowls" or something like that). Also, they really screw you when it comes to questions. All the other earlier editions came with 2 boxes of like 500 cards or a total of 6000 questions... this one comes with 50 of each color = 300 cards = 1800 questions. So if your family is fairly bright and you play this more than 3 times, you'll start repeating questions. It's still an okay game, just seems like Hasbro is getting lazy.

Fun!
My wife and I really love the new format! Without going into too much detail, the colors on the board and the rules of the game have been adjusted so that the game can be completed in 30 minutes or so. Sometimes we tweak the rules to make the game a bit longer, and sometimes we don't. Sometimes we play best 2 out of 3, which isn't really an option with other versions of Trivial Pursuit. We have plenty of trivia games and plenty of other versions of Trivial Pursuit. When we want a more "traditional" game, we just play one of the other versions. We both feel this version of the game is a nice variation and (most importantly) it's fun to play.

Thank you for creating the new questions for Trivial Pursuit!
I really enjoyed the variety of the questions and it was fun to be able to have some current information mixed in with questions from earlier in the decade. I am not a big fan of the new format when it comes to the way the Trivial Pursuit board is set up but that's not an issue because I just wanted the game for the questions so it was fun.

Fun game
If you like playing trivial pursuit, this game does not disappoint. So much fun. The set up and play is different, which made it fun as well.

Perfect difficulty level for all ages
What a great game for the value.this replaced my parents older original trivial pursuit board game. most questions are based on events or pop culture form 2000's an up. difficulty level is a lot easier than previous generations of the game, but still challenging enough for older players to still be fun. I see some other reviews mention that it is a very Americanized game and does not do service to players from other parts of the globe - this may have some truth behind it ... I am from Canada (close enough to the States i guess) and i have no problem with any of the pop culture references. As a family oriented board game, this gets two big thumbs up at under $15.

Disappointing set
Components are ok and the product is of good quality. But the major issue would be the questions which are not easy and neither are they relevant. And youll end up skipping most questions.

A fun addition to board game night
Had fun playing this game, nice to have a trivial pursuit game that's not so outdated. Sometimes the questions didn't always seem to match its category, but nothing major.
