Convenience and visibility
Sure, you can spend the time and materials making your own box to mount and hold these lids. For the saving in time and money though, this is well worth it. Easy to see when you are getting low and keeps them off the ground or out of a bag tossed somewhere.

Great way to keep your shop organized
Great way to keep the kids organized (if you’re like me you can even stack them). It does come with double sided tape so if you wish to stick it, you can. The one thing I do wish it would have is a door to keep the dust away. I do live in a dusty environment so keeping contamination under control is a must

Mehhh it works
Could have achieved same outcome with a cardboard box and scissors. Was hoping something more designed vs a plastic bucket.
