Cal-M-D - Calcium Citrate - with Vitamins K2, D3 and Magnesium, Tablets, Kosher (120)

This product has everything I was looking for. Most people take calcium but do not know you need magnesium and D3 for your body to absorb the calcium. Calcium can make a person constipated. The magnesium prevents that. It is also Calcium Citrate which absorbs better than Calcium Carbonate. It has D3 and K2. Studies have shown that it does no good to take just calcium by itself and you cannot take D3 by itself. It needs to all be taken together. I love that I can get this in one pill. UPDATE: My last shipment contained a bottle of Cal-D-Max which I did not order and cannot take as I do not absorb capsules. They owe me a bottle of Cal-M-D so I am taking off a star for now. I do value these as they have everything I need and are pills and not capsules. Keep making them. UPDATE 2024: I agree these pills are big. I am not a doctor so I cannot say this would work. But what if you cut the pills in two? Taking the halves separately? I wrote my review 10 years ago and have not found a better combination calcium pill. I used to substitute Algaecare every 3 days but it has gotten to expensive.

Pros: more balanced nutrition facts than other similar products I viewed. Cons: large pills, and requires 4 pills per day. I need to split into at least 2 doses per day, sometimes even four, so it’s inconvenient and easy to forget a dose.

An ideal method of taking a concentrated amount of calcium, magnesium and vitamin D.

After taking the first pill in the evening, i definitly got a better nights sleep. Woke up feeling more energetic and ready to work. After a week, i felt a stronger bone structure, i had less aches and pains, seems tobe working.

Giving it a 3 Stars for now because I just received it and can't say if it will help improve my osteoporosis. Delivery was great and no issues with the container or the pills. The only issue was the "Supplemental Facts" on the container I received. The % Daily Value did not match what was on Amazon.
