Regarding your live snail order : If your lowest local temperature ( including night time temperature ) is lower than 40 degrees, or your highest is more than 90 degrees, your will have a chance of dead on arrival, they will not guarantee live on arrival, and you will not be reimbursed for any dead on arrival. Those are extreme temperatures for tropical snails. The ideal temperatures are from 60 - 80 degrees. Do not order if you have extreme temperatures. This was taken from their care sheet that was shipped with my snails. I have ordered twice from these people and both times my little guys showed up alive, with a little bit of shipping shock. Follow their instructions to the letter, and you will a little less chance of having anything going wrong.

The picture is a bit misleading. These guys are super tiny. Hopefully my fish leave them alone!

So! They were a bit smaller than intended. But I am so happy to have these bright and beautiful snails in my tank! All 5 made it and are still happily moving around the planted tank I have.

Over all I was happy one snail did pass within the first day of receiving them but I will blame that on the stress of shipping them and getting jostle around a lot. They are doing their job and already showing signs of empty infestation snail shells in my aquarium so over all I am pleased

They are very small and cute,, the two that I have are very hardy and active.

These snails are about 1/8 of an inch long. I've seen ants that are larger. Very misleading pictures.

Snails arrived about 5 days earlier than the earliest estimated date and I was also given a bonus 6th snail accidentally. Snails were moving almost immediately after being introduced into the tank.
