Perfect! I bought this to take on my Kayak with me when I went out. I put ice and water in it and it stayed cold the entire time. The lid was very secure which is a plus because I have to lay it down on my Kayak. Only negative is that the finish is a bit slick so make sure you have a good grip on it. I have small hands! Otherwise it's going to be my go to cup for kayaking!
