Good quality water saving device!!

Looks tiny and meek, but it turns 1.5 gpm into a really delightful shower. Nice, even, wide cone-shaped pattern is just right. Best shower head I've ever used for a straight-up shower without the gimmicks of "rainfall", etc.

I like that it is a 1.5 GPM and it pratically pays itself in a few months and given that I live in Texas where its in a drought condition, this helps a lot.the down side, the shower head does not really give you a forceful shower. I have tried other $10 1.5 gpm heads and in my opinion you have to sacrifice force if you want savings. this might be refuted with the oxygenics shower head which happens to be the Cadillac of water saving heads.I definitely like this better than the Niagara heads. there was another customer that mentioned about taking the water regulator inside the head that looks like a green insert and you get a good force but you also sacrifice water savings going from 1.5 gpm to 2.5gpm.the shower head loses its position after the water is shut off, which is inconvenient since you have to set it back to your desired position every time you turn the shower on.

Bought this about 8 years ago and loved that it cut the water bill while still having a solid enough spray to rinse long hair easily. Recently had enough hard water scale build up that the flow was getting pretty wimpy - which I didn’t notice because it happened so gradually, but my visiting son asked what happened to the shower! Bought the exact same showerhead again, 3 minutes to swap it on, and my hair is rinsing easily again. At this price, it’s cheaper and easier to replace the shower head every several years than to buy scale cleaner for it.

Bought a couple of these to use in a guest cabin with a tiny water heater so that multiple people could shower without running out of water. Water lasts much longer at 1.5 GPM than at 2.5 GPM. The flow isn't as luxurious as with 2.5 GPM showerhead but it gets the job done and does not make you feel like there isn't enough water. Installation was easy. I used plumber's white tape on the treads for a good seal. I would have given this 5 stars for doing exactly what it promised but I'm annoyed that the manufacturer didn't put in a couple of inches of tape. (I've only seen that on one showerhead my entire life and I thought it was brilliant, then when I realized it was obvious I started to assume that it is a flaw not to include it.)

My old shower head of this ilk had worn out after a quarter of a century! The tiny pin holes in the metal faceplate that directs the water had worn into huge gaps and water was flowing out rather than producing a fine shower. The new one works fine, but after my initial installation I noticed very poor water flow. I removed it and found a conical plastic insert had come off the inside and was the culprit. I tried to decide if this was supposed to be there as some sort of limiter or was just for shipping. Of course, there was no written instruction accompanying the faucet addressing this. I removed it and the results seem great--but the water flow certainly seems more than the advertised 1.5 gpp.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I’ve bought one before. It’s perfect for instances where are you needing shower pressure but I have low water pressure. It works great.

I had been looking for this at local stores only to find shower heads that concealed to GPM ratings and were 30 times the cost of this. This works very well and saves so much water I am surprised some what that these are not more popular to try and save our water resources. The head sprays nicely and I get every bit as clean with a head that uses 5 times the amount of water at which this one does. Let's face it, if you have young people in your house that likes to turn the shower on first, then sit on the toilet, then play in the sink for awhile, all the time when the shower is running, you need to get this!
