All 4 chairs came in a well protected box with plastic wrap and foam. The legs were also wrapped in cushioning foam. The height of my kitchen island is 36". DO NOT purchase the 24" chairs as they will be to short if your island height is taller than 36".The assembling was ez pz....not one issue and the product material is very durable and the wood seats appear to be well made. Time will tell with the durability of the seats. The ball bearings in the swivel assembly are heavy duty and the chair pivots with just a little resistance which I found useful. The manufacturer includes the 2 Allen keys and extra parts as well. One thing that you'll need to be aware of is that these are not lightweight per se, but make absolutely sure you position them far enough away from you countertop/island/etc. because if you don't, you'll chip the edges of both your counter...and the paint on the chair will chip as well. Luckily, the rate at which the chairs actually swivel has some resistance so do not lubricate or touch the ball bearings.There are 4 bolts that hold both the backrest and the seat in place. DO NOT over tighten! Being that you'll be sitting on the wood seat you will not need a ton of force holding them in place. So just use some common sense when assembling these pieces. The only thing I might recommend is the seats are very hard, as they should be. But it would be nice if the manufacture would think about providing cushions specific to these chairs as an option. Just my two cents..I'll be following up on this review in about 90 days as these chairs are used in one of my Air bnb's and certainly will get the real test..UPDATE: 4/7/2024 It's been about 10 months and I'm finally catching up on my reviews. I must say that these bar stools have really been impressive. They have all had their fair share of use and have passed the test! The only thing I can suggest is to check the fastening bolts periodically to make sure they haven't loosened any. Other than that, the finish is perfect and the seat, and ball bearings are like new.

I was a little concerned because of the low price, but they’re good quality. They have rubber on the legs to keep from scraping the floor. They swivel. Despite the seat not being wood, they look really nice. Solid foot rest, took about 5 minutes to put together.

Updated rating as Seller has stated they will ship replacement part.Paint was chipped and one of the bottoms damaged making the whole chair un-useable. Disappointed for the price.

These stools are awful. We would return them if we had the box. The seats are too small, the back leans way too far back and the foot rest is a small metal pipe. It is uncomfortable to sit in. Usually I just end up standing…. They are nice looking and will likely stay that way since no one can sit in them.

These bar stools fit perfectly at our kitchen island and are very sturdy as the kids love to twist on them! They arrived in good condition and fairly easy to assemble but did have to bend some of the metal back to line the screws up correctly!

Great stools but definitely not made for any type of outdoor use. I bought 8 of these for my covered patio. No rain, just 85 degree weather (shaded) and the “wood” seats (7 of 8) started to delaminate after 2 days. It’s sad because they look great, are comfortable, the swivel feature works great and were incredibly easy to assemble.

Easy to put together and exactly as described.They seem sturdy and a good value for the cost.
