Universal tv Remote (for Samsung TV Remote)

Remote is a bit on the light weight side. Feels a little fragile. No big deal, I'm not playing baseball with this, but I do worry about it hitting the tile floor, which was the death of my previous remote. Anyways, out of the box, all functions work perfectly with all 4 of my samsung tv's and also works to control my RaspberryPi media center over HDMI-CEC.

Ordered this remote as the old one had stopped working long ago. The Samsung TV is 10 years old. We have had to remove the side panel to unplug the side buttons due to it would continuously add or subtract volume. So we needed a new remote at that point.It came within 2 business days as promised. I cannot remember if it came with batteries or if we put them in. But it takes 2 AAA batteries. The back is easy to remove and put back on. As soon as batteries were taken care of it worked straight away. We did not need to enter any codes. It's been a few weeks and it's still working strong. The quality is well made. I don't feel as if it's too flimsy or will break in a short amount of time. It is sturdy and has a nice weight to it. The writing on the buttons is clear and brand new even after a few weeks of use. The TV, PC, and HDMI options work just fine as we use all 3 for different media.The price was fair for this replacement remote. I would recommend this remote to anyone who needs a replacement. Make sure it's compatible with your TV by checking their list before you buy.

Remote fully controls my Samsung TV but the reason I bought it was to control a Fire TV Stick and the TV. It does not control the Fire Stick although this doesn't necessarily mean that this would not control other TV's.

I have an older Samsung LCD TV. I've had it for a while, circa 2007. Still shows an amazing picture. Anyhow, took a chance on this remote since it was less expensive than others and had more function buttons. My TV is LNT4071F model. Popped 2 AAA batteries in...basically plug and play for my TV. It comes with a folded program manual but I didn't have to use it. Every function that applies to my TV works. The main reason for getting it was to toggle between sources and aspect ratio which I do often. It was also a pain to go into menu settings with the on-set controls. Great value for the money.

Just popped in the batteries. You will need 2 AAA batteries. It did come with a folded manual, and it does state that this remote should operate 98% of Samsung model TVs without having to program. I was lucky and fell under that 98%! So far all the buttons seem to worth properly and function as they should. It also has a section of remotes pictured that their remote an replace (not all are pictured for there are so many modles) For $10, and 2 day delivery, very good buy.

Product works as advertised right out of the box, I'm happy with it.

Worked so good I just turned on my Samsung tv and this started working; no codes or programming needed. I'm sure I was just lucky however this works great for families always misplacing the tv remotes. I don't have any of the cable or sat tv providers, so I actually need my tv remote.
