Fantastic book if you want to learn more about these side characters. Not as recommended if you haven't read the main series.

With Familia Chronicle, vol 2, Omori takes us along in a journey with the most powerful Familia of Orario, the one of the (selfish) but brilliant and beautiful goddess Freya. The author used the occasion to tell us more about the Familia main members especially about Allen, Hedin, Hogni, and one of the Gulliver brothers, and a few original characters... which is ok....but the plot as a whole is a huge disappointment. Due to the characters' strength, there is hardly any challenge at all. Obviously, this is what you could have expected from this Familia but the action takes place before Orario's actual events so we could have had better. One fight is actually interesting but resolved really quickly.However, Freya's character development is really interesting. Learning how she thinks and acts is perhaps what makes the story worth reading.

I understand Freya better but I still want Bell and Aiz get together!!!!
