Not suitable for oily hair types

I have been using this conditioner for 4 years. I have tried many other brands and I always come back to Alba Botanica. It makes my curly hair so much more manageable and smells great. My hair feels silky when I use it

So far I haven't found any natural conditioner that works better than this one at a reasonable price (below $10/bottle). The scent is slightly flowery but not too strong.I will say that on my highlights I need an actual mask or Olaplex to get rid of the frizz completely, but this conditioner does a nice job keeping frizz mostly down and my hair moisturized. I did try the shampoo that goes with it, however I didn't feel like it did a good job cleaning my hair so for now I use Aussie Destress Clarifying Shampoo with this conditioner.

I found the shampoo on clearance at Walmart and gave it a sniff. I was in heaven! Apparently, I am a huge plumeria fan and never knew it. I bought both of the bottles they had on the shelf and looked for the conditioner but they didn't have it. Amazon to the rescue! I bought two conditioners to match with the shampoos and prayed that they were decent because honestly, I bought them purely based on the smell. Lucky for me, they are good. Not the best, but I alternate with a more clarifying shampoo/conditioner from another brand. It's definitely the smell that wins me over. The shampoo is decent, although the sulfate-free aspect of it means that it's not lathering as much as I'd like, but it's fine. My hair still comes out clean. The conditioner is nothing amazing, but it does what it's supposed to do. It conditions nicely, not too much to weigh hair down. I don't find that my hair is tangled at all, although I never had much of an issue with that anyway. The best part is that the smell does linger after you dry your hair. I wish there was a matching hair spray. I'm just so in love with the scent. I ended up finding other products with the same scent (dish soap, lotion, air freshener, etc.) because I love it so much. But this particular version of plumeria is the best smell out of all of them.

If you don’t mind strong scents, you will probably like this shampoo! I love that it is natural and sulfate/paraben free. It was just too strong a smell for me.

Love it. They usually are out of it at my local store so I get it here. My hair is in much better shape using a nontoxic product like this and it smells like Kauai.

I’ve used Alba Botanica Hawaiian Plumeria Shampoo and conditioner a couple of times in the past. It smells amazing like Hawaii and Plumerias. I’ve been to the Hawaiian Islands a few times and this just takes me back there in the shower. I’ve used this before when I’ve dyed my hair and it works great for that too since it is designed for colored hair. But you can also use it for soft, shiny and moisturized hair and/or just for the great Hawaiian sweet but flowery scent experience. It doesn’t have any harsh salts, sulfates, parabens, pthalates or artificial colors and it is PH balanced which is great for your scalp and hair. It is also 100% vegetarian ingredients. I decided after having a dry scalp and very itchy and even painful itchy scalp, dry hair and hair falling out so so much from all the chemicals in commercial shampoo and conditioner brands at the drugstore.... I had to come back to Alba Botanica Shampoo and Conditioner because of how much healthier it is for my scalp and hair. No harsh chemicals? Yes please.

Lovely stuff, makes my hair behave and stops it being so dry. Full of good things and not tested on animals.

The conditioner itself is great. Tho when in transit (it did come out) made small mess. I had to buy another pump.

Amazing. For a conditioner that feels so thin to the touch it packs a lot of moisture for dry colour treated hair. Love the smell too!! Will continue to repurchase for sure!
