59020 - Dynorbital-Spirit 5" Non-Vacuum Random Orbital Sander

I've been asking my coworker and do few research before I finally bought this Dynabrade sander. All I can say is it worth every penny that I paid for . Doesn't look really handy but comfortable . It does it's job and really quite as I expected and the price is really fair compare with the other. Why would you pay more for it? My coworkers has few os this and they last for years . Great tool !

I have not been using this for a year or more yet, but I have used it for a good 1/2 hour or so. I am very pleased with the quality and consistency of the sanding, and the tool is comfortable and well-made. It's quiet and light. I've used both 3M and Porter Cable air sanders, and this one is just as good if not better. I'll change my review in a year if this doesn't last for more than a year, since the 3m and PC both died in about a year. I think moist air was a factor in that, and for this sander, I have good, dry air. I bought the 3/16" orbit model. There are some swirls at 120 grit, but when you go up to 220 grit, there are no discernable swirls.

Dynabrade is known for its high quality air tools this is no exception. I bought this for a refinish project on my Corvette and it works great. very quiet compared to the old school DA sander and much lighter and easy to control. Dynabrade would have you believe that only their pads fit this sander but any pad with a 5/16-24 thread will fit. comes with a vinyl pad for self adhesive (PSA) sanding discs.

Product came on time, as advertised and in perfect condition. The price was also better than other sources.

Love the way it feels in my hands, smooth running and does a wonderful job finishing the parts I run. I use it in a manufacturing environment to deburr and remove rust. Very durable!

Very weak. I have 2 older machines but different brands that are much stronger than this.

These sanders are great, I bought this to replace the one I have been using for the past 15 years that finally decided not to work one morning. I was stopped in my tracks and ordered this new one. After I received the new sander and got ready to try it out, I realized I had forgot to turn the air compressor on the day before. Oh well I have 2 sanders now, but the new ones are so much lighter, comfortable, and easier to control than the older models. Wouldn't buy anything else.

Bought these for our cabinet shop - excellent build with obvious attention to detail. Very heavy use on a daily basis.
