The Light to My Darkness: 6 (The Hunted Series) Paperback – 19 Sept. 2017

I have no words to describe how much I am invested in this series. James and Penny have a little girl and a baby on the way and their lives are perfect until it’s not. Loving the story and catching up with all the other side characters too. My heart brakes for this family, they thoroughly deserve a happy ending. Off to download the next book. You need this in your kindle.

I have never felt so many emotions reading a book, I couldn’t put it down, I read it in less than a day, this is totally different to the last book but with each book it seems to get better, I love penny and James’ story

Loved all 5 books in the series but OMG what an end. My heart is still racing and I need the rest of the story, please. Cannot wait, however I do wish the author let on that it is not only a 5 book series!

This book was brilliant. After reading The Hunted Series, it hit the feels.I absolutely love James and Penny. It was brilliant to see them 3 years on, with their kid and with Penny carrying her second.God, James is just brilliant. I love him. He’s almost perfect. Even 3 years on, there’s still that spark between them both. Penny is going through alot with this second pregnancy. I love how caring James is towards her.Scarlet is sweet and all, but personally, it reminds me why I’d rather be surrounded by cats 🙄I loved seeing how everyone else has settled down. Rob and Daphne, Bee and Mason, and everyone else.The ending though. God, this book hit the emotions. I feel so sorry for James and Penny and I’m really hoping everything works out ok in the end.I would definitely recommend this book, but I’d recommend reading The Hunted Series first. Yet again I'm dying reading this such an amazing story I was getting bored at the start bu then all the twists and turns come again do they actually get a break at all I really feel for this series but you are defo an amazing writer u feel the heartbreak not for the light hearted anyway bit I can't wait to read the next one

There are no words, so emotional, will they ever get their happy ever after, it is such a tissue using book, I don't think I have cried so much over the last few days as I have reading this series, the writing is beautiful, the characters area amazing, get it, read it, you won't be Sorry.

I could not put this book down, Ivy writes such a brilliant story, true or not I loved this book as much as the other five

When I found out that there was another series which followed James and Penny I was so happy. I really wanted to know how they got on after everything that had previously happened.We pick up with Penny and James a few years after they got married. They have a beautiful little girl who is 3 and half years old and Penny is pregnant with their second child. We learn more about their friends and family and who they end up with as well. Does Rob finally get his happily ever after? Will Tyler return to Penny’s life?Penny is trying to publish her book about her and James’ love story, however it isn’t as easy as she thought it would be with lots of rejection letters. Will she ever get published?Penny has been diagnosed with a heart murmur during this pregnancy, the doctor has said that it is moderate and she needs to take things easy this pregnancy. Which is easier said than done, especially when you have a 3 and a half year old. Penny keeps getting pains in her chest and everyone is tiptoeing around her not wanting her to do too much. Penny is scared that she won’t be able to see her children grow up. Will everything go okay with this pregnancy? Is James addicted to Penny?James and Penny’s daughter Scarlett keeps saying that a Snake is going to come and kill mummy, James let her watch Harry Potter and there is a giant snake in this, James and Penny keep telling Scarlett that it’s just a movie and not real. No one is coming to hurt mummy, but Scarlett has said it so much that Penny is starting to freak out, does Scarlett know something that Penny doesn’t?Penny doesn’t want her family to forget her if she doesn’t survive because of this heart murmur, she wants James to promise her that he will move on and keep her memory alive for their children, but James says he can’t promise that.I throughly enjoyed this book, it has some good twists in the story and I flew through the last half of the book.

Ivy Smoak you just blew my mind. What a twisted and amazing ending. I am so confused and I really do understand now what happened. The Dr. was supposed to be helping and guiding Penny through this pregnancy, but out of the mouth of babes, it says in the Bible God uses the children to show the way. I am so glad that you decided to write ✍🏾 some more books 📚 in this series. It has me wanting to hurry and write this review so I can read the next book 📚📖. This was a great not just good, but great read. I would highly recommend this book 📚📖 and this series.

Ivy has done it again - James and Penny's story continues with all the feels in Foundation. I couldn't put the book down because I couldn't wait to see where Ivy would bring us. What she did bring is more surprises, return of great characters, plot twist and of course more more of what we love the love story of James and Penny.I love how we got to see all our favourite characters back and see how they've grown after a few years, I love how we get to see James and Penny as parents, I love how James constantly shows his love for Penny. So many up and downs, so many emotions. I laughed and I cried. All I can say is Ivy - please don't stop! I love all your characters but James and Penny really are my favourite - I can't wait for more! I'd read a hundred more books with them in it... Maybe please not with a cliffhanger? LOL (Although you do, do them best!) I'd love to have more of a POV from James (but I'm guessing we'll get that in book 6? But even the whole series from the start in James's POV would be super fun!!I can't wait 5+ months for Book 6, but I'll be one of the first to pre-order it! Can't wait for Matt's story to be told.Keep it up Ivy - you're awesome :)

I'm so captivated. I literally have gone through all the emotions in this book whilst reading. Cannot wait to read the next!

This book was fantastic. The characters are so easy to love and the storyline kept me reading until I was finished. Highly recommend. Five star read for me!

OH. MY. GOD!!!!! The emotions!!!! Love it. I thought the first books were emotional. This one almost made ME visit my Dr due to my heart. ♥️
