Installing and taking off the strap is a big task, if you eventually want to upgrade you run the risk of snapping your headset, once the strap is installed properly its a great strap in terms of comfort, the knob to tighten and loosen the strap is a little weird, you can tighten it properly but in order to untighten it you need to take it off your head, and other than that the quality isn't great, the plastic feels like it will break any second now and taking it off you can hear it audibly crack, this headset did me good for the better part of a year but there are many better options out there for the same price.

I’ve tried a few head straps before and they all broke (which I’ve fixed with some very strong adhesive), this is the only headset I’ve used so far that actually has flexible plastic that doesn’t crack or snap. Basically I’m happy with it and I’ve had it for a few months.

While the comfort didn't blow me away, it is definitely a HUGE upgrade from the included strap.It feels much better and lighter on the head, and the weight is more evenly distributed. However, what impressed me the most was the easiness of putting it on and off. Before with the included strap, I had to stretch the strap with force and tear up my head putting it on every time, but this head strap is just slipping it on and turning a knob, so much easier than before.

The head gear was delivered on time and seems to be made of quality materials. I like how the weight of the Oculus is more evenly distributed and it should be very easy for me to attach a small external battery to the back. The reason I gave it 4 stars… the box that Amazon shipped was previously opened, long blond hair was stuck in the Velcro and you could see the marks where the band was adjusted and readjusted before. Either Amazon shipped a used unit or the manufacturer took one back and sent it out as new. Either way, that was not expected when it was purchased as new. Thanks to sanitizing wipes, I feel comfortable keeping the unit without requesting a replacement.

The head strap is much better than the standard strap and it definitely reduces the pressure off of my cheekbones to the back of my head. However, this has resulted in a bigger gap between the bottom of my nose and the foam on the headset. Overall I'm very pleased with the strap.

My Oculus Elite OEM strap broke as a result of a 12 inch drop on to carpet. Oculus out of stock for replacement. I ordered this replacement 3rd party strap available same day shipping Amazon Prime.This strap is little more compact than the Oculus Elite strap. I ordered this strap as apposed to competition based on the more compact fit appearance to the back of the head. Upon arrival and inspection, I decided that the larger rear supporting head strap is more desirable for me.The quality seems just little bit less on the strap mechanism and soft support, but the plastic band which failed on the OEM Oculus Elite strap seems more flexible on this replacement than the original one that failed after 3 months.I ended up returning this strap per Amazon satisfaction guarantee. I would recommend this strap if you are looking for a less cumbersome support behind head.

Super easy to install and pretty sturdy support. Not as big as others I’ve seen, which honestly can be a good thing for most since it’s not as bulky.

A friend suggested that I give this a try after mentioning concerns about the official Oculus Elite Strap. Fortunately, it was easy to install, comfortable to wear and felt much more durable than the official strap. At least, that's how it started. What held it back and resulted in a refund is the fact that the plastic sides above your ears do not lay flat. Because I prefer over-ear headphones while I play VR games, every bit of comfort quickly disappeared the moment I thought I'd be able to enjoy some VR online. Those who use headphones that are inserted to the ear or do not wear headphones at all while they play VR will have absolutely no issues though.

I'm impressed with this strap so far. I've only had it a couple of days but it's much better than the standard strap supplied with the headset. It surprised me how much difference it makes. It was OK to fit. Not easy and not difficult. Watch a YouTube video showing how to install any hard strap (such as the Elite strap) since they're all the same. I managed to fit it in 5 minutes. No instructions come in the box so you won't have a clue unless you check first.It feels like it will last since it's made of relatively hard plastic and it feels comfortable on my head. It's much better to adjust than the supplied strap. The adjustment wheel at the back is very easy to use and you can make the headset fit much better on your head as a result.I've no idea how good the Elite strap is but I doubt it's twice as good as this one, making this strap a bargain. Highly recommended. I also got a silicon cover for the "face inerface" (the pad that actually touches your face) and that made a difference too. The total cost of both was £40, which I think is money well spent if you plan to use your Quest for any length of time (or share it with other people).

Good third party alternative for Quest 2 Elite head strap. Price is very reasonable by comparison, as is build quality. Fitting was relatively easy, clipping onto the Quest was tight which is to be expected. The head strap fitted the head snuggly and was adjustable enough to be comfortable and sturdy, a big improvement over the standard elastic. Hopefully the build quality reflects in longevity. For the price and quality, extended 12 month warranty and free gift, it is good value and certainly more worthwhile than the official Elite version.

I bought the headset on 11th June and it is fine....but tried to register it to get to get a free gift of 1 year extended warranty which you need to do within three days ( I did it 11th June) - the Amazon purchase order no. wouldn't work on the Vokoo website so sent them an email giving full details...I had an email back after 6 days asking what the issue was even though I told them in the first email...I sent an email back and have heard absolutely nothing since.(now 03/07/21)So be warned if you have a problem with the strap cos this has been woeful customer support

I've only had my oculus for 3 days so was eager to get a decent strap straight away, glad I did, and chose this one, it's very sturdy as long as you use it properly.. always untighten with the cog before putting it on and taking it off that way the arms won't snap, talking abut snapping when installing the head strap there's a certain way to snap on the straps, it took me a while, go from side down top to bottom (gently) until they snap into position.I found the head strap very comfortable it sits nicely on the top and back of your head and great value for money.

So far so good, the product I received is lightweight, barely any different from the original strap on the Quest 2. It was a little tricky to install but as soon as I realised that you should clip in the part furthest from the front of the Quest it was nice and easy.The tightening mechanism is spot on, it now makes swapping between different people nice and easy without any fiddling with the original straps. I have not played any high movement games but I have no worries about the headset moving around.All around the strap is a good replacement for the original without costing you a load of money. Well worth the price and I would buy again if I needed to.
