Great product for a great price.
The spring pin is a little hard to get on sometimes, but the quality genuinely surprised me. It's sturdy and smooth.

Sturdy, but heavy
Hurts a bit when you're learning, but it suffices as a prop, so I guess I'm getting some use out of it. At least it looks cool.

Great for beginners
It’s great for beginners, durable too. I have dropped this tons of times and it’s just fine, no scuffs or scratches anywhere. It is a pretty good tension when swinging, but is kind of heavy and loud. Overall I would recommend this trainer to beginners and people who want to get into flipping.

Beautiful but Beginners Beware
I love the design and the build quality. I wouldn’t recommend as your first balisong because it is all metal. If you don’t mind a little bit of pain and possibly bruising as you’re learning, go for it! A true butterfly knife ;)

really nice training tool
*it is not a knife, only a training tool* It is very well made, decent weight to it and looks in good shape. Only issue I have is how tight it locks to close, otherwise it's perfectly nice.

Worked well...until it didn't
I bought this for my teenager, who wanted to learn how to do trick with it, after his cousin had something similar. It was great at first, but it didn't last very long. Within a few months, the hinge got wonky and didn't line up properly, so it's pretty much useless now.

Poor Quality
Came out of the box with a pretty annoying squeak and no way to adjust it, after about a month of use one of the pins came out making it pretty much unusable, a month later the other came out, also compared to others around the same price the weight balance is pretty bad. The only real positive is the looks and price, but if you actually want to use it I would not recommend

Not Worth It
It looks nice, and to be honest, out of the box feels pretty nice.However, the first pin lasted me 24 hours, and the 2nd pin broke a week later rendering the trainer broken.This product isn't worth your time.
