I had a recent illness that left me with temporary histamine intolerance. I found Histamine Manager and gave them a shot. taken within 10 minutes of eating, I had no problems with foods.They are relatively small and easily swallowed, and have no taste/after taste. i did, of course, try to avoid high histamine foods but even so, i still had issues. Happy to say that I seem to be past that phase but I have a bottle on hand just in case. Completely recommend.

I take these before I drink alcohol or when I know I’m eating too many histamine rich foods. I don’t really get hungover or have hang-xiety when I take these.

I have had horrible complications due to the covid vaccine that through trial and error I deduced had affected my ability to process histamine. The symptoms are crazy: rapid-onset swelling in my legs, face, arms, flushing, racing heart, tight chest, joint pain, I could go on. I ordered this after trying a BILLION other supplements that didn't work. This did! Buuuut.... BIG BUT. The bottle says 600mcg on the listing, which isn't much, considering a normal dose of DAO is 4mg... yes. MILLIGRAMS. 600mcg (MICROgrams) is only .6 MILLIGRAMS, and that's for 2 capsules, meaning you have to take a huge handful of pills (like 9!) to get a decent dose. Also, when you actually get the bottle, the label says 540mcg!! Even less! Had I known all this, I definitely would've gone with another brand. So to sum it up technically it works, but they're pretty much charging double considering the low dose formulation. Maybe this would be good for someone who's histamine intollerance is incredibly mild, but that's not me, and probably not you; if you're looking for a DAO supplement, you're probably suffering pretty bad like I am and will need like 2 bottles of this per week just to feel normal.

Histamine Manager allows me to eat the foods I enjoy (potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, citrus, spinach, nuts) without getting a stuffy nose. I carry some with me where ever I go.

I have never written a negative review but feel compelled to for this product. I previously used a more expensive DAO enzyme and thought I would be able to save with this one. It is 6:45 am and I suffered all night with histamine intolerance symptoms, etc. stuffy nose, muscle twitches, insomnia . This product was not only ineffective but made things worse. I am in tears, I live in the Bahamas, so on top of the cost of the product, I had to pay additional shipping + VAT, an additional $18.00. All just to feel worse and still have to order the more expensive brand and continue to suffer while I wait for it to arrive.

My daughter has the brain-fog, mood swings, and fatigue form of long COVID, and we'd been *almost* able to manage it with a low histamine diet, exercise, and magnesium. The DAO gets her to healthy most of the time, and gives us some room to make mistakes (miss a day of exercise, forget the magnesium, eat something that isn't low histamine). This feels so much less overwhelming now, for both of us. We picked this brand because the product photographs show the label statement that the product is free from gluten. Fixing one illness by triggering another would have been no fun!
