This would be great to bring to a white elephant party or to give as a gift. I believe these same people make the "grilled cheezus" which is also hilarious. There is a fine line between funny and inappropriate when taking a laugh at beliefs which many people consider very serious. This product is tasteful and quirky. We gave this as a gift to my father-in-law who is a Pastor. He loves his morning coffee.This cup seems to be a tad smaller than other mugs I've seen, but it holds about 8oz of water. It says it is microwavable but I didn't want to microwave the cup as I wanted to see how pouring in water would affect the colors and how hot the liquid needed to be. The water that I poured into it on the first test was not boiling, not hot enough to have steam, but slightly too hot to drink and it worked splendidly as you can see in the pictures. The "cool" color on the cup is a nice navy blue and the "warm" colors vary between yellow, orange, red then a purple-blue. It is very much like the stock photos. Also instead of the colors changing all at once the colors blend from the bottom up so it really looks like a sunrise! At first when the colors are changing "Jesus" appears green, because he goes from blue to yellow, but rest assured it only lasts for a couple seconds til he is a bright sunshine yellow.I would definitely buy this as a gift again. *I received this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased review. This is so awesome. I have a ton of cups and this one everyone wishes they had one. Good solid cup. Thick quality paint. This is really cleaver.
