These are the best garage door remotes available for older Overhead Door Openers.
These door openers are great. If you have older Overhead Door Garage Doors with the large unresponsive openers then I highly recommend these. They are much smaller than my original units, they are easier to change the code on, they work way better from much further away. I used to have to take my opener off the visor, stick it out the window and press the button 20 times before it would open the door. Not with these units. They operate on the first try every time. I highly recommend them to anybody with older overhead door openers. Check your frequency though. It's usually listed on the remote or the opener itself.

Unprogramable
We bought this as a second opener. My husband, who builds garages and installs doors, found this opener difficult to handle and program. After multiple attempts we were unable to program it to our door. We decided to return it. Instead of easy returns with Amazon, I had to send it directly to manufacturer. I packed it up, sent the required code and still have not received a refund. It has almost been 3 weeks. What lousy customer service

This unit was easy to program, compact, clean and works great. A great replacement unit for the original remote. Nice to have a working remote again.

works on model 456 original.
My opener is an overhead door original model 456. It has no dip switches that I could find but has 3 push buttons. This remote fob I am reviewing worked perfectly. I left dip switches on remote the way they were when arrived and without instructions for my receiver just started pushing one of the three buttons at a time and door started working. Im very satisfied.

The 2 remotes I received were not compatible with the old ESP MICOM remotes I was trying to replace,it spite of your ad that said they were.I am out the return postage,and still have no new remotes.
