I have really sensitive skin and this always soothes it and calms it down.Can be a bit thick to wear under makeup, so you need to leave it a good half hour to soak in properly

I have use Avene Tolerance for many years without issue. This product is the replacement from a couple of years ago. I don’t really do reviews but I wanted to share the photo. The product does sit at a higher price point but you get every ounce out of the bottle. I use on my face daily and they last about 5-6 months.

I always buy avene tolerance as it is the best moisturiser for my skin, but on this occasion the tube will not dispense through the pump, it must be faulty. I can't use the product. Unfortunately started using it after the window for returns closed.

Works wonders on sensitive skin, calming and nourishing

I have never normally been driven to leave a review, but hope this may be of some help to someone else looking to find a replacement for Avene Tolerance Extreme Cream.This is the replacement recommended on the Avene website, but contains different ingredients to the product it replaces.As background information, I have very sensitive skin, and am prone to allergic reactions, but found the previous incarnation of the Tolerance Extreme range to cause no problems.On applying the new cream, within roughly ten minutes of application, my face had broken out in hives, a rash and angioedema (swelling of deeper layers of the skin that sometimes accompanies an allergic reaction), my lips also became swollen, my skin became unbearably itchy and I had an extreme burning sensation.I immediately cleaned the product from my face, but it took a liberal application of hydrocortisone cream and a maximum dose of Fexofenadine (a prescription antihistamine) to calm the reaction, the after-effects of which lasted for roughly a week and a half - that is, my skin was sensitised and irritable for that period.I have yet to find a suitable replacement for the Tolerance Extreme, but will try to post an update if I find one.Hope this proves useful to someone, and helps avoid someone else suffering a severe allergic reaction to this product.
