Something for the pain, wow, what an amazing book.I have never written a review before but just felt I had to as this was just a beautifully emotional book and the writing was second to none. I loved it.I love friends to lovers romances and I think this has been my favourite I have read so far or at least in a long, long time. The story was well written, well paced and I didn't want it to end. Tripp was a sweet, endearing female lead, you went on her rollercoaster ride along side her, I was rooting for her to open up to Alex all the way, and Alex, wow, I think I am ruined for all future book boyfriends from now on. He was perfect, the right amount of sweet, sexy, hot and kind that made him perfection, and the tattoos just made him hotter ;)I have never read any books by this author before but on reading this book I am now reading all her books, a real gem of a find.I would recommend anyone to buy this book, you will not be disappointed. Wow this book gripped me right from the start, I really loved it. The sexual tension through this book is off the charts hot !!!A story about best friends who have known each other and grew up together since they were very young. Alex and Tripp are so close that when she re enters his life he is finding it hard to suppress his intense attraction for her. And Tripp is feeling the same way. They talk about everything but that and as Alex is a bit of a man whore who has a different girl in his bed every night and Tripp has a boyfriend, it seems that friends is the only way to go. UNTIL one night things change between them after Tripps boyfriend Lucas tells Alex that his secret wish is to watch Alex and Tripp have sex together, A one off night ? Will they be able to contain their feelings into that one night to keep Lucas happy. What Alex doesn't know is that this is what Tripp has always wanted since she was old enough to know what these feelings mean. Will Alex agree, will it put the strong friendship they have together at risk forever ?I love Victoria Ashley's books, this one is brilliant, love the characters, Alex is extremely hot and very sexy. This is a really addictive story that is well written and found I just couldn't put it down. Another must read from Victoria !!!

Tripp and Alex's story was such a unique turn on the friends to lovers trope and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! I adored their journey and their unconditional love for one another. I absolutely loved this story and so glad I got to read it!

Frustratingly goodchildhood friends to lovers story that drags on so long it has you shouting in your head hurry up and sort it out already just get it on.Alex is a definite bbf who would lay down his life for Tripp if she asked him to, it was so Damn sweet but neither wants to move past the friend zone and this is we're the angst in this plot kicks in.Tripps sort of boyfriend let me tell you he had my blood boiling so yes, it's a good read for the fact the author draws out emotions as you read.And the end, Damn! it so makes up for all the blood boiling.

I loved Tripp and Alex story they were destined from the time they met their love was formed from undeniable love they needed to to be each other's one and only person they could rely on always there was never anyone more important than each other loved it a truly beautiful love story from sad beginnings to ultimate everlasting love who could ask for more

Oh yes it's the same I know you can see the end from the start and it dose repeat a little to many times, but it still had me glued? Why I have no idea, it could be the characters, you can imagine them and hoe the scene looks,but other than that it's just a nice romantic story .enjoy

I've read it in one sitting, I just couldn't put it down. Alex and Memphis are sooooooo hot!!! Thanks to the author for sharing your hard work with us. And for for sharing the real life Alex. It really enhances the experience of reading an awesome book when you can clearly picture the characters. Brilliant idea!! X

This is a nice and easy story of how childhood best friends Alex and Tripp became lovers. a highly enjoyable read from beginning to end.
