Dell Computer KM713 Wireless Keyboard

This Dell keyboard is exactly what I have been looking for, a USB wireless keyboard designed for Chrome OS with a number pad. My HP Chromebase included a small Bluetooth keyboard w/o a number pad. If you're trying to use a BT keyboard with a BT mouse you can run into mutual interference issues, so I wanted a keyboard with a USB dongle. The size is perfect for me, as well. Those complaining about missing heys, incorrect layout, etc, apparently didn't pay attention to the product description or don't know that a Chrome keyboard is different from a Windows/Mac keyboard. Don't be critical of a product that wasn't designed to be what you want. However, just as a Windows/Mac keyboard can be remapped to work with Chrome OS, I expect (no promises) this keyboard can be remapped to function on Windows or Mac

This is probably the best keyboard that I've ever purchased. It's extremely comfortable, its ergonomics are great, the key travel is just perfect and it looks great. I've seen some reviews saying that it lacks specific keys ( such as caps lock, Windows key etc.), but this is just because it's a Chromebook specific keyboard. So be sure that you order this keyboard only for Chromebooks and that you really know what you need, otherwise you will feel that it lacks the keys you're so used to. If you do use a Chromebook you will find this keyboard perfect and the bonus is that you have a special language switch key that makes life so much easier if you work with more than one language.

Steer clear of this one! It looks like my favorite old mk713 and seems well built, however it has some serious flaws. 1) There is no caps lock key. Really. 2) There is a system shutdown key right next to the delete key. Seriously. 3) And if that wasn't enough, the various function keys did not work at all - volume up/down, brightness. Nothing. Now I'm back to using an old HP keyboard that I like well enough...

The only thin I don't like is that not have Windows Button

Happy with keyboard except that this newer version has a computer lock button near the backspace button. Gets hit too often by mistake and locks up computer.

If you are accustomed to the original, this is not the same except for the physical form. *No Cap Lock defined - that button's position now triggers the Windows 11 Apps window *The delete button has moved to the right with the number keypad *There's what appears to be an Internet button that does nothing * All the key labels are now in lower case (which doesn't affect anything) *Not seeing an insert button

There’s no caps lock key, I can’t figure out how to turn on num lock either so the numeric keypad is worthless. The lock key right above the backspace key is infuriating. I also can’t get any of the function keys/shortcuts to work. Overall it works in the sense that it connects to my laptop and I can type, but otherwise if falls flat with various shortcut keys.
