Item Alphacade Shampoo Scaly PSO States 200ml

I received 2 bottles of this shampoo to try out, from a friend outside the UK. It had been recommended to her (for me) by a pharamcist. I have psoriasis all over my body, and of course in my scalp. I do not have a large number of plaques in my scalp, but overall it is very dry and flakey generally and itches like crazy. I had a few red blotches along and just inside the hairline on my forhead, and I could feel a few scales around the crown and rear of my head.The main active ingredient in Alphacade seems to be salicylic acid, which is a well established treatment for psoriasis and dandruff, although I cannot find the % conentration noted anywhere. It has a few other additives also.The Alphacade has a pleasant smell and is easy to use. It has a reasonably thin consitency like a regular shampoo, perhaps even slightly thinner, but it lathers well. It also seems to dry out my hair noticeably less than several other medicated shampoos that I have tried.After the first use I noticed the itching was significantly reduced. Using this now every 2nd or 3rd day I have almost no itching, certainly nothing that wakes me in the night or bothers me particularly.The plaques/flaking that I could feel around the crown have reduced and the red blotches along my hairline have faded.Over all there is much less flaking coming out of my hair if I ruffle my hair with my fingers.Before buying more from Amazon I ordered some from a French website, as the only supplier on Amazon was asking a very high price, but now I see an alternative supplier on here. So shop around for a reasonbable price.
