This is the exact replacement air filter for my 2007NB GMC Sierra with the 4.8L overhead valve vortec V8. It's the same filter for the 5.3L OHV as well. In the photo the old filter is on the left and this new ACdelco filter is on the right, the old one is the same filter purchased last year from Amazon as well.

This fits my 2015 Silverado perfect. The quality is excellent. It's a tight fit but that's what you want. My truck sits out a lot and it's surprising how dirty the filter gets in six months. If you regularly change them, you can actually detect when they need replacement The filter really works great and it a excellent quality filter.

*real customer comment - looked like a genuine AC delco/GM part it did look like it was somewhat was made kind of crudely but good enough for me to put in my truck, I just recommend inspect before install for no manufacturing defects.
