We love this spoon - it doesn't stain or retain smells and since it's all one piece, we throw it in the dishwasher without being worried it will come apart. Everything GIR makes is great - we have multiple utensils from this company and they're all awesome.

Docked it a star b/c the color isn't a rich red as the photo shows, but a louder tomato red. A little garish. But I wanted a pointy spoon w/ holes, & I got a pointy spoon w/ holes. Seems sturdy & it's already been quite useful.
