what you need for children

Can’t quite figure out what I bought. Very poorly translated, pictures are great, but dim- as if they need more intense paint. Was this a colored film strip? A story made to look like films?I don’t know. But, grateful to have more of Rodari’s stories. What a wonderful writer, with a joyful heart! All in all, would probably buy again- not much of his work is available in English, which is a big shame.

Great illustrations from russian edition, but translation is horrible. I had to re-write it before reading to my grandson.

The pictures are wonderful but the translation doesn’t follow English grammar. Perhaps it was translated by a program. Not a human!!

I do not know who/what translated this book but it is NOT English...
