Before using confirm correct bolt thread size
The actual tool is machined perfectly and fits. Unfortunately the three bolts that came with it that screws into the flywheel were the incorrect size M10x1.50 and the bolts required for new Yamaha115 is M10x1.25 thread.

simple and effective
Did exactly what I needed.I used this and a separately purchased lifting eye to hold my 2019 yamaha f250 outboard while I installed a jackplate. This held it no problem and I was was never nervous about it not handling the weight.Its nice that you do not have to remove any bolts to install this item so no worrying about re-torqueing bolts.

Wrong thread pitch
For a Yamaha F300, this will not attach without damage to the flywheel. You will need to use m10-1.25x80 bolts which are not very common in my area.
