I have a pet that likes to pee on pillows when he gets jealous. I have gone through so much money buying new pillows that I found these and wanted to try them. Of course a lot of water resistant material has that crinkle of a plastic that would irritate your ear. If you lay on these covers, they are soft and easy to wash. I put them on my pillows and place the pillow covers over them. There were times where my pet had peed on them but the pillow itself was not peed on.
