Oh Ya!
I love this thing! I was using a smaller less powerful juicer and decided that I needed something faster and that would reduce prep time. I was spending a lot of time cutting my fruit and veggies just so I could get it into my old juicer. To be fair, my other juicer worked fine and did what it was suppose to, it just wasn't efficient for my needs. I love Breville products and I had great expectations for this juicer. I did my research and I knew what I features I was looking for. I wanted something that had a powerful motor to grind through harder fruit and produce with out bogging the motor and I wanted a juicer that had a feed channel that would minimize my prep time. I came across a few models and brands that seemed to fit the criteria, but my love for Breville products (based on experience and not marketing) made my decision simple. After learning more about the juicers that fit my criteria I really felt that buying a juicer that was all metal was in my best interest. Aesthetically it fit my preference and taste and fit in with my current line-up of small kitchen appliances. Materially, the stainless steel seemed a more durable option than the resin plastics of other brands. Additionally, stainless steel in my opinion, is easier to sterilize and holds up well in the dishwasher and I don't have to worry about fading or cracking. Now on to the juicing. I opened the box and to my expectation the juicer was packed well. I came out of the box ready to use. I cleaned the parts that would touch my juice as recommended. I turned on the motor and was surprised at how quiet it was. My smaller juicer sounded like a chainsaw in comparison, not to mention the motor on my smaller juicer was only 125w compared to the 1000w of the 800JEXL. I expected that it would be louder just because of the motor size difference but again it was surprisingly quite. I juiced apples, carrots, celery, oranges, pears, beets, cucumber, kale, spinach and ginger to make my normal juice. It took literally 5 minutes whereas my older juicer took about a half hour. Prep of produce and fruit was easy as I did not need to cut anything. It all fit right into the large feed tunnel - one of the key reasons I bought this juicer. I noticed that I got more juice out of this juicer than my previous one. I know now that is because of the motor and juicing mesh. Because of the motor size combined with the mesh, the combination extracts more juice from the produce and fruit. This ultimately saves me money in the long run although I am not able to quantify that at this point considering I have only been using it for a couple of weeks now. All-in-all, I HIGHLY recommend this juicer! Breville is a GREAT brand and I am pleased with their quality and performance. The description of the machine in the manufacturers marketing is as promised and it is understated in my opinion. I appreciate quality and although this model may seem a bit high in price for some, I can only say you get what you pay for!

Incredible machine, great results!
I have not owned any other juice machine but after doing my "homework", I was hoping I made the right choice. All I can say is this is becoming more and more fun with less time to clean up. All parts do clean very easily, and actually that's the easiest part. For me my preparation of all the fruits and vegetables is mildly time consuming, even though I know you can throw things in there whole. Somehow the thought of little stems, seeds and tiny pits going in there don't thrill me but I'm starting to overlook those things now. I have made some incredible pitchers of juice, at times using a large combo of fruits and at other times, using less combos of fruits. I have learned that when I toss in small things like blueberries, blackberries, small carrots, etc., I must quickly cover the top with my hand before they fly out of the chute all over the place. Yes, like I said, it's a learning experience. Large chunks of fruits and carrots (only vegetable I can tolerate juiced thus far) make an awesome drink and my kids love it too. I have been experimenting with the choice of items in chute and the speed at which things are juiced at. There are 2 speeds: higher and lower. I have made many little mistakes along the way, from causing a huge mess with juice overflowing out of the container and down the cabinets, to stuff flying out of the top and staining my wood cabinets. I have gotten much better at this. The other thing is this can become a very costly addiction.....I spend a fortune on organic fruits and vegetables and in a flash, $50-$75 worth of fruit is in one small to medium pitcher! The amount of pulp that goes in the garbage is scary looking. Cleanup takes about 10 minutes total. Be sure to put a small garbage bag or a plastic bag in the container that catches the pulp or it will be a messier cleanup for sure. The only thing I cannot acquire a taste for is the green juice. As much as I eat only organically grown fruits and vegetables, I just cannot get green juice down my throat. I know it's something that has to grow on you but I think I'd rather eat raw veggies anytime than drink them. I keep saying I'll try it again but I get weak thinking about swallowing that stuff! Ugh....no one can honestly say it tastes really good unless they have no taste buds. The fruit drinks on the other hand are absolutely fantastic. I guess it's all personal taste and to each his own likes and dislikes. I am not disappointed with this machine at all. It is not cheap though but I hope it lasts a very long time. It is beautifully constructed but it does take up alot of counter space and it is tall than the bottom of my cabinet area so I have to put it alongside the cabinets, next to my sink area, but that's okay. It looks really attractive and sits near my other neat machines, as I do have alot of counter space. If you are patient and willing to do a little cutting and cleaning up, you will not be disappointed. My total time preparing, juicing and cleaning up my mess is 30 minutes from start to finish and the container lasts me 2 days, if I'm lucky and I can hide it from my family!

Es fabulosa para hacer jugos ya que aprovecha todo de la fruta. Es para mí sin duda la mejor. Rápida y fácil de limpiar. Los beneficios que esta máquina aporta para apoyar la salud son increíbles e incalculables.

This is a powerful juicer that is a perfect fit for my needs. It does a great job on the fruits/vegetables I'm primarily interested in juicing ( carrots, apples, pears, pineapples, etc. ) and the ones it doesn't do well on are ones I'd most likely be throwing in a blender, not a juicer. For example, there's no way I'd ever want a full glass of things like parsley or spinach juice, but I might want to add those things to other juices in which case I'd throw them whole into my vitamix along with the juice produced by the Breville. I've read reviews complaining about very wet pulp and I suspect that's due to pushing product through too quickly. This monster can devour a whole apple in under a second but to get the most juice you'll want to push it through at a slow steady pace ( eg maybe in 10 seconds instead of 1). I measured a yield of 70% juice by weight for carrots and 77% juice by weight for Fuji apples. That's good enough for me especially when it juices that quickly. It's also easy to clean. The only cons are some things produce a good amount of foam but the pitcher does a good job of filtering out the foam. I wouldn't pay their current asking price ( about $600 CDN ) since their are better juicers at that price point even by Breville but it's often available as a Warehouse deal in the $150-$200 range at which point it's a great deal.

I absolutely love this juicer. I have had it a couple of weeks now and it works great. It is very easy to assemble/disassemble and it is very easy to clean. They provide a little brush to clean out the fine mesh filter and this works great and takes very little time. It says you can put it in the dishwasher, but I never would. It cleans so quick under tap water that I personally see no need to risk clouding the plastic. The juicer is very well made and sturdy. The parts are stainless steel. I think this is well worth the upgrade over the less expensive model that is made with plastic parts. The juice made from this is great. It handles hard and medium items really well. Softer items like spinach are a bit of a challenge. You need to roll up leaves tight and sandwich them between harder items to get the best result. The juice tastes fantastic. It doesn't heat the juice up so you get all of the nutritional benefit of cold extraction. It does take up a fair bit of counter space and you need lots of overhead clearance to move the food plunger in and out of the chute. But, the juicer is functionally attractive and is not an eyesore. I have had no problem with leaks or clogs. I am glad I chose this model.

Es muy fácil de limpiar y de usar. Este es el tercer exprimidor que tengo y rebasa por mucho los otros dos. Hago jugo de apio todos los días para dos o 3 personas y me facilita el trabajo.
