Stainless Steel Coffee Filter - Paperless & Reusable for the Best Pour Over Coffee

I bought one of these because I got tired of buying Melitta filters every few weeks. Over the years I have tried pretty much every kind of coffee preparation method. A pour over with a paper filter provides the best flavor, althou one loses some heat that way. If you like your coffee piping hot, then you need a coffeemaker with a heated surface, or a stovetop maker of some kind, since any pour-over method or French press will result in cooler java. But back to this thing - I didn't even know until I began looking on Amazon that reusable stainless steel filter cones existed. There are a bunch of them available, and this looked as good as any. The coffee it makes tastes good - a bit more robust than with a cone and paper filter system. The item is easy to clean, and it appears plenty durable. So far I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Coffee tasted great and it saved us from using plastic or paper filters. Then about 6 months later the metal from the filter started peeling back at the seam. I assume this is from washing it. We hand wash everything and this abrasion is the likely culprit.

I absolutely love this! I bought it because making one cup of coffee a day in a coffee press or a standard coffee machine to me is just not worth the hassle. With this and a tea kettle I'm set. It cleans up easily and has held up very well so far. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a simple low-tech way to make coffee.

Game changer. I use a reusable filter for my keurig and it will not always filter all of the coffee grains. Now with this additional filter my coffee is perfect!!! I no longer have to purchase those expensive k-cups.

the base has the weakest and smallest welds that easily snapped off on mine in a few months of use.

Neat little item. This replaced one I had for about 30 years which was 2 separate pieces (unnecessary). This is all you need. Easy to clean, sturdy, doesn't tip, makes a good cup of coffee.

Excellent strainer for any purpose. I use mine to filter the sediment when making turmeric tea for health reasons. Sediment does not pass through, but the liquid does easily.

Simply beautiful. I bought thes to filter our French press coffee into our cups. But may try some pour over as well. Really beautiful piece of equipment.
