I've purchased many books by Fundamental Changes - mostly Blues or Jazz guitar - and this one maintains the high standard that I've come to expect. The book broadly falls into two sections: the first section deals with targetting chord tones to articulate the changes; the second part is about exploring the various scale/mode options available for each chord. Essentially, the book shows the Blues guitarist who has perhaps become stuck in a diatonic minor pentatonic rut, how to break out of it and adopt a more sophisticated approach akin to that used by Jazz musicians. The relevant theory is explained clearly and simply and each idea is demonstrated by a selection of cool and usuable licks, supported by a variety of high quality backing tracks. Highly recommended.

the content was easy to understand,and the book is well laid out i will purchase more of this series.
