The product is very good, but the manufacturers oversight was where the ball joint is secured by two screws to the back of the phone cradle. The threads had not been chased after painting, this stopped the screws being installed. I didn’t have the correct tap to chase thread, so i had to improvise and apply a small amount of paint stripper to the two thread’s with a cocktail stick, left for 30 mins, then removed paint stripper from threads with a paper towel, then gently turn screws in a bit at a time, back off, screw in again etc, until the screw went in deep enough to fix the ball joint. I cleaned the threads of the paint stripper and applied thread lock, now all is well. But this could have been a bad review or a returned product! The only other piece of advice is if you remove the holder (for security) by unscrewing the ball joint clamp, place fingers either side as it is spring loaded and will eject parts.

Very impressed:It's very solid, can take a beating and projects the phone from most angles.No chance the phone could fall out even over worst ground: spring mechanism holds very firm and there is rubber grip and padding on holding arms.My phone has top right mounted cameras and flashlight that are not obstructed having clear view.Double ball-joint and strong lock work very well; hold my heavy phone at any angle and raise the viewing hight to more useful.It's a little on the heavy side - but I'm glad for the extra strength and durability.Not the cheapest - but worth it.Thank you, more than fit for purpose - very good.

I got this phone holder for my new bike. I have a bigger phone, with case it's slightly over 7" tall and 3.5" wide (.5" deep by the way). I was worried that my phone wouldn't fit, but it did. And this holder is heavy! I'm pretty sure this is more for a motorcycle traveling the country than a simply bicycle. The phone is literally immobile while in the holder, and the way it's designed (with the protective phone case I already have helping) even if it should, for some crazy reason, detach from the bike the phone would survive. I'm talking at 30+ mph. This is a total unit. I would go for this over the ones with the rubber or elastic corner bands any day of the week. It mounts fairly easily, just don't expect the included "wrench" to fit the nuts that go on the U-rings. The included screwdriver was only helpful in extending the side guards, and I already had one that worked for that. However, the inclusion of the tools was a nice bonus. It's actually so sturdy I'm more worried about messing up my phone getting it in or out than I am about the phone falling off of it. 10/10

Absolutely amazing.

Struggled to find a decent, well priced mount for ages now. Stumbled across this and for £30 its really good! Mounted on a RAM 1" ball mount (purchased seperatly) ive attached this to my CBR1000RR to use my phone as a sat nav on longer journeys. Its sold as a rock, all metal parts and really high quality. Only time will tell how robust it is, but i'm pretty confident it'll live up to expectations.

Grips my phone on the bumpy roads here in England.

I have had many goes at getting a good mount for long trips with not a lot of success, this one meets all requirements, great piece of kit 👍

Clamp does not close tight enough to attach to a wing mirror stems...the only exposed pipe on my motorcycle

It's been on my Ryker for over 2 years and I can't recommend it enough. Very sturdy and secure. I would buy it again.

Durch einen Facebook Tip in einer Moppedgruppe bin ich auf diese Halterung gestoßen. Vorher hatte ich so ein Plastikteil für 15€. Das war aber nie montiert weil ich Schiss hatte, daß mir alles um die Ohren fliegt.Hab's dann aufgrund des Tips mal gekauft und bereue es keinesfalls.Heute erste große Tour gemacht: Die Halterung hält Bombenfest. Schöne, schwere massive Qualität, wiegt gut was. Kann sie ausnahmslos empfehlen, ist ihr Geld wert.Tippi Toppi.

L'unico supporto che è della dimensione del mio telefono, robusto e resistente, ancora devo montarloa promette benissimo. Anche relativamente economico.

Je suis viticulture. J en ai commandé 2 puis un autre 2 jours plus tard. 2 que j'ai mis dans les tracteurs et 1 sur la machine à vendanger. Vraiment solide pas de plastique, le portable est bien tenu, ne bouge pas avec les bosses et vibrations. 👍
