This LED, slim super easy to install light is about 2-3 times more affordable than other pool lights in this category. Installation was a breeze as long as you are patient while pulling the slim cable through the original pool light tunnel. It took my uncle and I 4 hours to install but only because we broke the slim cable that was attached to the old light the first time. We had to get a fishing wire to attach to the new slim LED pool light cable. It would have taken us under 3 hours (for two lights) if we didn't make that mistake.Pros- Brightness is very good for the priceEasy installation and you can control two lights with one control/transformerComes with it's own 12v transformer and manual controlAbility to control it via smartphone, bluetooth applicationThe cost is a big positive. You will not find a better light or easier installation for that price. I was able to save close to $1200 as I installed the spa light as well (if I had installed two regular brand name lights with fixtures). I've had the lights installed for almost 3 weeks now.Cons- The only con I see is that it's not wifi controllable through the application. However, that's not a big deal as you can control the colors and modes via bluetooth. The range is about 20-30 feet bluetooth range from controller to smart phone. However, within range, it's very reliable to control. Be patient and follow instructions. You might be S.O.L. if you have Android though as there are mixed reviews with Android. IOS works very well.

Wife loves it, that should say it all. Easy install and easy instructions. There were some negative comments about the App and I have to agree with them. It's clunks and does not respond half the time. I can get it to work 70% of the time but when it doesn't work for her it becomes a problem. I just leave it on the normal setting and let her flip the switch for the blue color. It's been installed for 6 weeks now and I will add an update in 6 months.

We got a pool and spa light, and we couldn't be happier. The lights and the app for Bluetooth are user friendly and provides so many lighting options. The lights are very bright but also dimmable.

UPDATE: Almost a year and lights are holding up great! No issues but the app is still pretty bad.—-Very happy with how great they look and how easy it was to install. This replaced an older Pentair light and it’s awesome. Happy so far but it’s only been 2 days.The good: easiness to install, brightness, Bluetooth control, color choices and overall look. Price is awesome too.The bad: There are a few things I am worried about regarding quality of this product like the cable being really thin and cheap compared to a Pentair so tells me a lot about the rest. Will this light last? Hard to say since feels somewhat cheap and things under water take a beating…Worth trying it out for the price. Happy so far!

This light was easy to install (I hired an electrician, and helped pull the old light out and pull new wire for a discounted rate). It works well and has several color options to choose from.

These lights were a perfect fit for my older spa (6") niches that are in my spa and also my pool. I really struggled to find LED lights that fit 6" spa niches, and not quite ready to re-plaster the pool, so was happy to find this lower cost option. The lights are actually flat / surface mounted, so the niche just holds a few feet of extra cable for servicing above the water line, but should be noted that LED lights can't be serviced anyway. Easy to pull the cable through the conduit, LED low power lights means this cable is much thinner than the old cables I pulled out (pro-tip: use lubricant when pulling cables through conduit). Each light is 12v 18 watt, so more safe, and waaaay less power consumption as the previous lights were 500w, 500w, 100w. Super happy with the brightness and the color. Yes, we can tell the difference in 'white' color compared to more expensive LED pool lights. On these lights we can see individual LED colors trying to blend together, but still looks pretty good to us. Other colors like cyan this isn't an issue, in fact the attached photo almost looks artificially colored, but probably just correction from my phone camera. Overall, bright enough to make the palm trees glow from the pool light. I was able to use one controller for all 3 6" lights, and this is the maximum capacity for transformer that is in the controller. The in/out cables in the controller have waterproof fittings, but I had to make a silicone plug in the conduit to waterproof the entry into the junction box.

My wife and I purchased these lights as a replacement for our existing pool light. The contractor was delayed in doing the work and when it came time, he realized that he was unable to remove the old lights due to ground shifting that caused the tube that the wire runs through to be dented. We are unable to use the lights we ordered. We have removed item out of the box. They are brand new. But, because it has been longer than 30 days, we were told by Amazon that there would be a restocking fee that was more than $100 each. We asked for a phone number or an email for the seller but were told that neither was available. Basically, the company has no way of being contacted in order to plead your case, in the event that something happens that is out of your control. I suppose we could have sent them back and reordered them, costing everyone but us money but we thought there would be some understanding. There isn’t. Beware. Plus, Amazon will only warranty this item for 30 days. We wanted the lights and disappointed they couldn't be installed such a disappoint for us, dealing with Amazon and lack of vendor help.
