The End of Online Shopping: The Future of New Retail in an Always Connected World

Good for newbies but not helpful for Industry practitioners
An over optimistic commentary on how digital revolution will / is changing retail behaviour. Very Dan Tapscott-ish! Sentence after sentence of positive prophecizing without any deeper analysis or rationale. The facts themselves not wrong and well researched. Writing is lucid and good for fast reading. Good for people who know nothing about this topic but for those who are in the business - nothing new (same old examples of Go store from amazon or Hema store in Shanghai). Personally - the most unappealing part is the feeble attempt to create a new buzzword (in this case “ONLIFE”) and hope it catches on in the industry and possibly people remember the author as the one who coined it. Ugh!

An informative book about online.offline selling
had some good ideas and showed a side of shopping for the future. Like an adventure story showing how online shopping is morphing into retail bricks and mortar.

A must-read for retailers
An easy to follow and interesting synthesis of the current state of affairs in retail, touching upon all key points. Highly recommend!
