GMG Davy Crockett Combustion Fan Blower Motor

Picked this fan up for my grill. The fan works great and was super easy to install.

My wife found a Davy Crockett model that someone was selling for 75.00. They said they only used it twice. When she brought it to me I plugged it in and tried to fire it up and all it did was smoke. I noticed the fan wasn’t blowing. When I looked under the hopper I noticed the fan was stuck on the grate and looked melted. After doing some testing to see if it was getting power I found the fan was just stuck and would spin. I ordered this fan and plugged the wires back in. Put back in the four screws and it’s back up and running perfectly. Cooked my first meal on it yesterday. Great price and works as needed

This came quickly and was an exact drop-in for the OEM fan that had died on me for my GMG Davy Crockett. It took me longer to disassemble than it did to install it fit so well. One tip is I replaced the screws in the OEM with 11/4" #8 screws instead to make it more secure and easier to install.After the installation and checking out the performance it seems to work as well as the OEM fan did originally. The grill heated in the same amount of time, and ran through the start-up cycle and shut down cycle, with no problem.

Bought this to replace my fan that melted somehow. Super easy replacement, was smoking ribs again, in about 20 minutes. Perfect fit for the Davy Crockett, Green Mountain Grill. 5/5.

Product was working perfect with my Davy Crockett grill till today( 2days before memorial day) when I took the temp up to 550F degrees to clean the grill and it melted. the OEM fan did not melt when at that designed temp. that's the high setting on this grill so seller may want to look at better materials. So this fan works for my normal smoking and grilling but be warned don't take it up to the high temp of 550 or will melt.
