The original only lasted 5 years - not great in an RV hot water heater without much use. You pay a lot of money for this unit. The motor could be sold by itself, as the ducting ends up being useless unless you take the entire heater apart, which is not necessary. Ducting does not fail so you end up taking the motor off the new unit, taking the old motor off the old duct and installing the new motor.
