First off, don’t throw away the instructions- they are on the inside of the paper wrap. If you have a lower wattage microwave, you may need to start out adding a little extra time to figure out exactly how long it takes for your microwave. Either way, don’t leave it- listen for the kernels popping. I end up with a few (not too many) kernels that don’t pop, but it otherwise turns out perfect. The bowl will be hot, but put it on a plate, tray, or trivet and it works fine to eat straight out of it. I am very happy with this. I love popcorn, and this is so much better - healthier and better tasting- than the pre-packaged microwave in the bag stuff. One thing I like about this model is that it has the butter tray in the top so that you can melt butter while popping.

You can buy this reusable popper for the price of maybe two or three of the box of bagged popcorn. You know, the bags that are never the right size and come with more oil and chemicals than popcorn? This is simple and easy to use. It's become almost a daily indulgence to pop a bowl of popcorn in the afternoon to much while I work. I can add whatever butter or flavors I want without generating waste. Yes, the bowl gets hot and I would not recommend eating out of the bowl itself after popping. It's a little easier to burn popcorn in this bowl than with the bags, but slightly burning it doesn't ruin the whole batch like it does with bagged popcorn. Good value, fast and easy to use, encourages a healthy snack alternative. Highly recommend.

Plus - it pops well and tastes good. No oil needed, it's faster, easier, and less clean up. The top's indentation measures kernels perfectly. Minus- the clear top does not attach tightly so it can't be lifted using the heat resistance handles. Difficult to get the very hot container out of microwave. Butter does melt through the indentation, but a lot of it seems to end up on the sides of container. Maybe it depends on how much butter you like.

I tried this last night for the first time and the popcorn was fantastic. The directions are easy to follow and the popcorn popped nicely, no problem. It’s so much healthier than the pre-packaged bags of microwave popcorn and every bit as easy to pop. Both the collapsable bowl and lid are easy to clean and store. And if you want to bring a great popcorn popper to a vacation home, this is very lightweight and takes up little space to pack. I’m glad I made this purchase and highly recommend it as a healthy and easy (and just as tasty) alternative to microwave bagged popcorn.

I love this product. I used to buy the toxic bags from the store but now I can make fresh popcorn and add butter and seasonings as I please or leave it plain. Storage space is great, easy to clean, as others have said it's very hot but it doesn't take long to cool down the silicone bowl. I've only hand washed because I dont have a dishwasher but I use Dawn Power wash, soak with hot water then scrub with a brush. Only thing I can think of is I can't get all of the butter grease or smell off the lid but that may be due to the fact that I cannot put it in the dishwasher, either way I use it so much it's not a big deal, I consider it extra flavoring lol The quality of the popcorn is so fresh and crunchy. Ease of use is simple by using the top of the lid to measure. Enjoy!

Its ok, it cooks the popcorn but it gets so hot you can burn yourself.

I cannot express how much I love this product. it’s just amazing. Easy to use, clean, just the perfect thing. I eat popcorn nearly every night now.

This is at least the fourth microwave popper we have used over the past 30 years and by far the best! The popcorn was amazing - almost all the kernels popped (there were less than 10 un-popped) and the popcorn came out lighter and larger than from the previous popper. It was the most delicious popcorn I have ever had! Highly recommend it. Just a satisfied customer.
