Summary:Good for sealing mattress to be protected during move and to make it more compact. Straps are not very strong and may need to purchase separate straps to keep it rolled up. Use caution, the bag gets easily punctured if you're not careful. We used this product to seal up our queen sized mattress for a move across the country. By sealing the mattress, we were able to avoid bug or mold while it was being stored/transported in a Uhaul U-Box for over 2 weeks. But the best part was that we were able to compact down our mattress and then even roll it to ensure that it used up the least amount of space. We did use a strap to keep it rolled up during storage/transport. Unfortunately, we did accidentally make a hole in the first try, so we ended up using two vacuum bags (I bought two just in case), but I think that was better so that the bag didn't get punctured while moving it and also so that it was able to stay even more compact.The straps that comes with the mattress was not quite strong enough to keep the mattress rolled up, so we purchased a different item for keeping shape. Also, it takes quite a long time to vacuum, but the patience does pay off.

I first got defective item at first. When I contacted the seller, the seller gave me a prompt reply and sent a replacement item. The item is great! It keeps my mattress firm and tightly stored. Great for anyone looking to store their memory foam mattress. All you need is a vacuum and you're good to go. Make sure the nozzle is facing upward. Love the belt that keeps the folded mattress sturdy. Tad bit expensive and it's not prime so shipping will take long, but good product!

Used this to shrink down my pillowsac lovesac! So much better than their kit and more affordable . So far it's putting up well. The straps definitely help get it into the shape you need

It works as described. I added few tapes to be 100% sure. I was on road for 3 days and then I opened the mattress after another 3 days. The package was without leak after 6 days. Over 1000 dollars worth of mattress was transferred by just spending less than 10% of it. The seller responded promptly when tracking details were unclear. The seller also proposed refund if the package wouldn’t arrive on time. Fortunately, everything worked out. I will give 100% to seller for communication and quality.

This bag looks like a great idea and I was looking forward to using it to store an extra twin mattress. The vacuum sucked the air out and I walked on the mattress to get more air out.When I tried to roll the bag, it was impossible. It was like attempting to roll a board. There was no "give" to be able to roll it. I am guessing this is because my mattress can be turned over, it has a "top" on both sides. I took off a star because I didn't see this listed in the product description so I ended up with a slightly expensive dust cover to store my mattress in.Things I learned:1. This bag doesn't work with 2-sided mattresses -- one that has a top on both sides.2. The bag is VERY slippery so be careful if you walk across the bag when you are placing the mattress in the bag. Same thing with walking on the mattress to get more air out.3. The seal around the mattress is VERY delicate. You cannot slide the bag with the mattress inside along a carpeted floor without losing the seal. The directions suggest placing the mattress inside another bag. Do this BEFORE you move the mattress in any way. This was not a problem for me as I kept the mattress to use as a dust cover during storage since the shrinking thing didn't work.
