SP570804 12 Volt Oscillating Fan

This little fan is awesome! I bought this for my dog, who rides in the cargo area of my Toyota 4Runner. There is no air flow back there and even if the A/C is on, it gets hot. It works perfectly and has great airflow. I have it clipped to the mesh dog barrier. The clip is strong and and it stays in place when we travel. I did have to tighten the screws because it kept "drooping", but once I did that, we've had no problems and she's much more comfortable back there. Some reviews mention the noise. Yes, it's a little noisy, but it's not bothersome at all. The noise is just the air moving through the fan blades. The fan itself is not rattling or anything. It's perfect and I would buy again!

I use 12v vehicle jump starter battery packs to power my off-grid cabin. For the winter we have a wood burning stove but for the summer it was always a struggle to move the air. Since we don't have power, I had to find something that plugged into the 12v DC cigarette plug on the battery pack jump starter and this was the one I ended up getting. I use it all throughout the spring and summer and it works great. The switch is nice and durable and it moves a lot of air. In the summer I keep in aimed towards me through the entire night and it barely makes a dent in the battery charge. Well worth it!

I use this fan in my car at lunch to help bring in less hot outside air while I have lunch under a shade tree next to my work parking lot. After four hours of morning sun my car reaches a scorching 130 deg F by the time I enter my car for lunch. I move my car under a nearby shade tree after running the AC a few minutes. Now it’s a not so comfortable 100 degrees. I clamp the fan on the right front corner of my open sunroof opening directing cooler outside air onto me. It moves a good amount of air and the oscillation feature works great. I do wish it had three speeds. Low-med-high. The single speed it now has I would call medium. The fan is a great value for the money and does what its made to do very well. The padded clamp has a great clamping force and stays where you clamp it.

Awesome. Good price on Amazon compared to other websites and compared to Truck Stop store prices. Got 2 for my van that only has blower in the back and no A/C in the back; only A/C in the front. These units pull that A/C air from the front and circulate it well.They also work good for my kids in the back seat of my full sized SUV that has front and rear A/C on hot days in long road trips. My kids really like they own personal fan and even the tinted back windows the rear seats get hot with little air circulation without these fans.Fans clip onto the head rest posts or to the interior door handle used to close the door.

I bought this for my RV and actually wanted a fan I could listen to at night to block out others at the campsite and give me some nice white noise. But this fan is loud and not in a good way. It's makes a buzzy noise that is kind of annoying not a smooth fan sound like you'd expect. It works well though and blows a lot of air. It also only has one speed. If it weren't so annoyingly buzzy I'd give it five stars. I sleep with a fan every night at home and won't be using this fan during trips when it's time to sleep. I'll have to find something else. For a 12 volt fan to cool things during the day this is fine. Wouldn't get another though.

I bought 2 of these fans because my AC in my SUV unexpectedly quit during one of the hottest weeks of the year so far. It was going to take a while for my mechanic to obtain parts and do the repair on my SUV. I was ecstatic to find this fan here with the oscillating feature, at an awesome price. My prime benefits made this deal even better. Yes, its just a bit noisy, but not a rattling type noise, and not anything that I would find super annoying. I'd take a little noise (that can easily be muffled by the sounds of loud teenagers or the radio) over being miserable in the sweltering heat anytime. I had things to do and places to go and this fan was very effective in keeping us cool and circulating the air. I would highly recommend this.

I bought this fan because my infant and my newborn are in the backseat of my SUV and although my AC works and does not work well enough for this Arizona heat. Besides the fact that my one year-old's car seat so bulky it does not allow there to get to him specially when he falls asleep he sweats a lot. I was surprise when I open the fan because the package is flimsy I thought the fan would be to come to find out it's actually very sturdy the clip holds strongly and it keeps the car much cooler. I was also surprised to find out this fan rotates which is a plus because I have a total of three kids in the back. I have read I review that says it's noisy but I don't think it is. I actually had to lower the temperature on my AC because between that and the Fan my kids and I were cold. The cord is long enough that I think it could go across the interior of my RAV4. The only thing I would change is for the fan to have low medium and high setting because it only has on and off but I mean you can't please everybody right? I Will definitely recommend it to my family members and friends!

This little fan isn’t going to win any prizes, but it’s super easy to use and move some air around. There is only one speed and it’s about what I’d expect from a medium setting on a tiny fan. Yes, it’s a little loud, but most of the noise comes from oscillation, which can be turned off. The cord is long, so I can stretch it into the bed of my truck to push Ac toward dogs or use it to circulated air in one half of my 16’ camper by clipping it on a window. For actual cooling, it needs to blow straight on you at a pretty short distance—3 feet max. I’m not sure of the amp draw, but it doesn’t seem to phase my camper marine battery and my truck starts if I use it in my truck with the engine off for an hour. It’s affordable and probably about the best you can do for the price without mounting anything.
