Q: Is the 72” x 24” mat size shipped flat?

Mine was shipped rolled up but flattens out naturally once it was unpacked. All edges are flat on the floor - the rolling didn’t warp it in any way. I also have one half this size and that one was shipped flat. Both are completely flat on the floor.

Q: Is it easy to move. I would have to move my chair and put the mat in it's place then move it back under the desk when I want to sit.

The mat is easy to move, I move it when I mop my kitchen floor. It weighs about 4 pounds and takes both hands so it takes some effort.

Q: A Sit/stand desk how well would this mat hold up to having a chair on it part time? I would prefer a larger mat that I don't have to move to sit.

I place and use a small step ladder on the mat regularly without damage. However, this would be much less pressure than a chair on a regular basis. Given the price of the mat, you'd be better off moving the mat when sitting as it will probably damage the mat over time.

Q: are the wellness mats safe for luxury vinyl plank floors?

We have them on marble floors and they work wonderfully well.
