I have given these to little ones a few times and each one is appreciative of getting a stuffed animal and absolutely delighted when it growls at them. The ages range from 3-7, boys and girls. They work well and hold up well. The only issue on occasion is the size of the child's hand may not be able to reach around the head to make the animal growl.

Unique item good for a lot of laughs, and a great conversation piece for friends.
This little stuffed animal has given us more than it's cost in value. My wife uses it every other day to show her moods. "This is me when I was busy at work and had no time for lunch! (feisty face)" It never gets old. I brought it to her work when she forgot something, and she showed her coworkers how she feels when she forgets something at home, and everyone laughed. They had never seen a Feisty Pet before, and the grownups all thought it was hilarious. We plan on scaring her mother with it when we visit next. Until then, we are going to continue to get enjoyment out of it.The toy itself doesn't feel cheap. I'm sure you could tear it up if you tried but ours hasn't fallen apart with everyone handling it. It doesn't shed fibers like cheap toys from China usually do. All in all, I recommend this for anyone who has kids and an excuse to have fun things at home, or for weird people like us that don't have that excuse but like a good laugh anyway. Five stars.

Adorable wolf
The media could not be loaded. His size is not so big but a good size. The growl function is great and it's durability can be a little low, due to obviously throwing it hard, but the toy is entertaining and soft. Looks great and the product is worth the buy.

Sammy not so scary suckerpunch!
Ive had this for awhile now so I'm super late on a review but my daughter doesnt find it scary at all. She's almost 2 and just laughs so hard. She makes little angry faces at it. Which wouldnt scare anyone lol but are so adorable!! I love how soft it is. I bought it for my boyfriend for his birthday because we both really like wolves, but to kinda make him laugh at the whole cute to scary ratio. Its fun and cute.

Fun, easy, soft,and no batteries needed
FUN! FUN! FUN!I bought this plush baby wolf to go with my Holloween costume. I had him in a basket full of treats and when I offered them he reared his teeth. Everyone loved the little jolt of fear they got. Not much scares folks on Holloween anymore. So many people asked where I got him and what brand he was. Feisty Pets. Go look on Amazon for lots of options. No batteries needed. Just a little squeeze behind the ears. I am over 50 and had a blast. Huge hit.
