Black Flag Home-pest-repellents, 18 oz, Clear

Got this because I had a bunch of gnats outside and they would get in the house via the doggy door. I was surprised at how well it worked and how much was in the can. It lasted a very long time.

I don't know why but this summer I had more flies and gnats in the house. I tried hotshot flying insect spray, did nothing, got raid had to spray too much just to kill 1 fly. I was really surprised by that because the raid ant and roach works well. I really needed to find something that worked(I HATE flies and maggots), saw black flag flying insect spray decided to try it. Glad I did, I sprayed flies in the air seconds later they were on the floor dying. I would spray in the pantry and kitchen at night there would be no flies the next day. I went from multiple flies buzzing around to none except the stray fly that gets in when letting the dog in or out. But they don't last long with the black flag! Now the gnats are another story I have found nothing that really works on them. Even the black flag did not totally get rid of them but it's only a few where there were many. I'm not complaining and I still rate this 5 stars because it did what other products didn't GOT RID OF THOSE FLIES. Since this is a review I feel this should be included I've noticed that as you get to the last of the product it's not as effective. I would recommend.

The smell is not too bad either. It does work on those small black flies in the kitchen

This spray only works “on impact;” i.e. if the spray directly hits a live fly. In other words, if you spray a garbage can with it hoping to kill or at leat discourage live bugs from settling in, it’s useless. The scent is absolutely toxic-smelling (like the old pump bug-killers used in the ‘50s, and the mist is so finely dispersed when you press the button, that it immediatey gets all over you, and you can’t help but breathe it in.. I would suggest that this stuff be used only outdoors where there is plenty of ventilation. The sticky traps actually work at least 90% better than this poison, and are a great deal cheaper.

This year the flies were terrible this year. Used fly strips and other fly sprays and the flies were still bad. My husband suggested Black Flag, but didn't seem to find it anywhere. Some one told us it wasn't made any more, but we found it and it worked like we remembered!!!

Works better than the brand I was using almost as soon as the spray touched the I insect it went down does not leave any sent. I was going to cook on the porch sprayed 5 minuets before I was going out cooked our meal on the griddle,45 minuets, and didn’t have angering bother me. I will but this again.
