We pay fair prices for really good tea from farms in Africa and India, to make a lovely blend that's big on flavour, seriously refreshing and kind to the people who grow it. Our family business was founded in 1886 in Harrogate, one of the nicest towns in Yorkshire (though we might be a bit biased)! We’re still family owned today and we work hard to stay true to our love of fairness, flavour and quality. We work extremely hard to build long-lasting relationships with the people who grow our tea. We pay sustainable prices and a premium for quality, we regularly visit the farms and co-operatives we buy from and we invest in their communities and their environment to help ensure both are thriving and resilient. In short, we strongly believe in ethical trading. It is not too strong and yet not too mild. It is just right for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best tea! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 21 February 2026* Yorkshire tea is my absolute favourite. Great tea no matter what the configuration. When I was unable to get a 1 kilo bag of loose tea, I opted for this version. I find that loose tea is more cost effective than bags, though perhaps a bit more of a hassle to use. 1.5 Kg is a lot of tea, and will last my family for months, so the smaller 250 gram packages will stay fresher, I think, than the kilo bag. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Tea. Better Than Supermarket prices *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 8 March 2026* Its great tea. Many many months inside use by date , so if you get through a packet or more a month it'll still be fresh !Cheaper than supermarket offers, even with their loyalty cards ## Frequently Bought Together - Yorkshire Tea Loose Leaf Tea, Total of 1.5 kg (6 Packs of 250 g) - Yorkshire Tea, Total 1040 Tea Bags, (Pack of 3.25 kg) - NESCAFÉ Gold Blend Instant Coffee 750g Tin --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.nl/products/300406189-loose-leaf-tea-1-5-kg](https://www.desertcart.nl/products/300406189-loose-leaf-tea-1-5-kg) --- *Product available on Desertcart Netherlands* *Store origin: NL* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
