I didn't buy this to paint an engine block, I just needed an orange to match some other items on my Jeep.This paint is super orange about one step from fluorescent.

got the job done
This worked great on a pellet stove that was rusted way past acceptable. Granted, I'll probably lose points with the almighty for making the stove look better than it was, but I'll take my chances. Good paint.
