Cityscape Coloring Book: Urban Buildings City Adult Coloring Book (Cities & Architecture)

3 levels of difficulty for adults or older children
The media could not be loaded. I do like the pictures in this colouring book. There are a few easy colouring pictures with few details and clear outlines. Some pages contain beautiful detailed pictures with thin unclear outlines – these are for those who prefer a challenge (like me). I would say that most of the pictures in this book are of a moderate level of difficulty, i.e., having clear outlines and a lot of details. The paper is thin but it is exactly like my other colouring books. It is not printed on any special paper. The flip side of each page is black. It is not something that would make a difference to me although I supposed this book would be less expensive if they weren’t blackened (LOL).Although it is recommended to use colouring pencils or crayons, I prefer to use markers and watercolour paint. I use a combination of alcohol based markers and water based markers. The alcohol markers do go through the paper and can be seen on the black flip side. This is normal for alcohol markers. Some of the water based markers can also be seen on the flip side but it is not as severe as the alcohol based markers. In order to prepare the paper for water colours, I had to add a layer of DS transparent water colour ground. As a result, there was minimal warping of the paper during painting. I was able to do some blending of paints too.Overall, I do love this book. I intend to use it mostly with my watercolour paints.
