Not earthy at all.
I place multiple orders from Divine house and have always been a fan of their packaging. I got a little pack of Nakumat powder as a sample this time.It's doesn't smell earthy at all and has a lot of grit so unfortunately it doesn't serve my purpose. But as mentioned you can use this coloring claypots and Rangolis - Its very pigmented.
