Ink skips
I use to have one of these several years ago. It fits and feels good in my hand but expect to purchase a better ink cartridge or you’re going to be priming it at nearly every use. I guess the quality is like everything else these days.

Very disappointed
Been writing with this pen for a couple of days and it keeps skipping.. as much as I paid for this pen you would think it would write better

I have to sign a lot of documents daily. I dislike"Gel Pens" because I sometimes have to handle them before the ink is dry. The Pentel Client on the other hand is a regular ball point pen. I find that this pen had terrible consistency. I find myself having too scribble on a blank piece of paper all the time to jump start the ink flow. This is garbage for the price.

good pen but quality has dropped
I purchased several of these pens about five years ago. I loved them at the time because they had a solid weight to them. The pen nicely rested in your hand while writing. The ink was OK, but I eventually replaced the refills with a compatible [Parker style] refill. Now, this pen feels cheaper in terms of design and weight. Ink quality is still OK. I probably will not purchase this pen again.

My wife grabbed it! It's hers now
I was at a Sonic Drive-in and paid for my meal with a credit card. The waiter handed me the receipt and one of these pens to sign it - I fell in love immediately and ordered one for myself.When it arrived, I put it on the kitchen table and started using it to do crossword puzzles (NY Times Monday and Tuesday only!!) The other day I saw my wife reaching into the pen cup and singling out this pen for a note she was writing. I (casually) asked, if she liked the pen. Her answer was a fast and definite YES. OK, she uses, make that PREFERS, cheap "hotel pens" that I have brought home from business trips. However, this neat little pen won her heart. Go figure! It is now hers and I need to buy another to keep peace...You have it - this pen is a WINNER - just ask my wife, the fussy pen lady.HIGHLY recommended
